[email protected] Attitudes of the Kiev, Bratslav and Chernihiv Dietines in Exile Towards the Policy of John III Sobieski in the Period of 1687–16911 Egzulanci kijowscy, bracławscy i czernihowscy wobec polityki Jana III Sobieskiego w latach 1687–1691 Abstract The article discusses the political positions of Ukrainian nobles from three dietines in exile, from the county (voivodship) of Kiev, Bratslav and Chernihiv between 1687 and 1691, who met together in Volodymyr-Volynskyi. Based on documents of assemblies from the pre-diet and after- -diet one can analyze political views of nobles from three dietines and their attitudes towards the king and his politics during three consecutive diets (1688, 1688–1689, 1690).
