Executive Director, Advancement Office, University of Jos, November 2004 to June 2012: Pioneered the establishment of educational fundraising in Nigeria. Worked with three Vice Chancellors, directing the Advancement Office, a central educational support unit that served the entire university. The Advancement Office consisted of ten senior staff and three junior staff. It provided Alumni relations services, communication and marketing services for the university, donor prospect research, proposal writing services, grant solicitation and stewardship of resources, kept a database on alumni, donor prospects and projects, and managed project implementation.
