Summary Recent data on the Microlepidoptera of Saxony, with comments on other federal states (Lepidoptera) VI. - Recent collecting yielded records of 19 species of Microlepidoptera new for Saxony. Two of th e m , Stigmella sakhalinella P uplesis , 1984 an d Coleophora filaginella F uch s , 1881 had not been found in Germany since 1980. Nine additional species represent recent records for Saxony (since 1980), one of which, Pammene insulana (G uenée , 1845), had not been recorded in Germany since 1980. Doloploca punctulana ([D enis & S chiffermüller ], 1775) is recorded from Thuringia for the first time, and Pyrausta rectefascialis T oll , 1936 is a recent record (1980). Nat. Croat., Vol. 30, No. 1, 37–52, 2021, Zagreb. From 2016 to 2020 numerous surveys were undertaken to improve the knowledge of the pyraloid moth fauna of Biokovo Nature Park. On August 27th, 2020 one specimen of Psorosa mediterranella (Amsel, 1954) from the family Pyralidae was collected on a small meadow (985 m a.s.l.) on Mt Biok- ovo. In this paper, the first data about the occurrence of this species in Croatia are presented. The previ- ous mention in the literature for Croatia was considered to be a misidentification of the past and has thus not been included in the checklist of Croatian pyraloid moth species. P. mediterranella was recorded for the first time in Croatia in recent investigations and, after other additions to the checklist have been counted, is the 396th species in the Croatian pyraloid moth fauna. An overview of the overall pyraloid moth fauna of Croatia is given in the updated species list. Quaderno di Studi e Notizie di Storia Naturale della Romagna Quad. Studi Nat. Abstract [A contribution to knowledge of the Crambidae of Romagna (Insecta: Lepidoptera: Crambidae)] Faunistic data on 126 species of Crambidae (Insecta, Lepidoptera) living in Romagna region (Italy). Crambidae are a family of Microlepitoptera, subdivided into ten subfamilies: Acentropinae, Crambinae, Cybalomiinae, Evergestinae, Glaphyriinae, Odontiinae, Pyraustinae, Schoenobiinae, Scopariinae and Spilomelinae. The first list of the Crambidae of Romagna was published by Pietro Zangheri in 1969. The present paper updates Zangheri’s survey after half a century, by adding 31 species. Introduction and Concluding Remarks are both in Italian and in English. Key words: Lepidoptera, Crambidae, checklist, Romagna, Italy.

It was found that the present taxonomic list of Lepi- doptera of Trekhizbenskaya steppe, consists of 700 species belonging to 77 subfamilies, 39 families and 18 superfamilies. In particular, one species — Eugnorisma miniago was discovered on the territory of Ukraine for the first time, and its location is the westernmost in its habitat; 42 species were registered for the first time in the Lugansk Region, and 29 — in the Lugansk Nature Reserve. Thus, the taxonomic list of the lepidopter- ous fauna of Lugansk Nature Reserve was supplemented with 72 species and currently has 1175 species. It is recognized, that in comparison with the other departments of Lugansk Nature Reserve, lepidopterous fauna of Trekhizbenskaya steppe is distinguished by the large number of psammophile meadow-steppe species, which find favorable conditions for their existence on the sandy terraces of the Seversky Donets river. In ad- dition, a characteristic feature of the lepidopterous fauna of this department is its original heterogenity that displayed in combination of steppe, meadow and forest species.

58 BULLETIN OF THE LITHUANIAN ENTOMOLOGICAL SOCIETY. Volume 1 (29) DATA ON 2 NEW AND 113 RARE FOR THE LITHUANIAN FAUNA MOTH (LEPIDOPTERA) SPECIES BRIGITA PAULAVIČIŪTĖ, VITALIJUS BAČIANSKAS, VYTAUTAS INOKAITIS Kaunas T. Ivanauskas Zoological Museum, Laisvės al. 106, LT-44253, Kaunas, Lithuania. E-mail of corresponding author: [email protected] Introduction Lepidoptera (butterflies and moths) are one of the most diverse and species-rich groups of organisms. Currently, the number of described species is close to 160000, but it is estimated that the true number of species could be as high as half a million (van Nieukerken et al., 2011). The Lepidoptera in Lithuania are not comprehensively investigated. The last catalogue of Lithuanian Lepidoptera includes 2423 species (Aarvik et al., 2017). This article presents data on 2 new (Digitivalva reticulella and Caryocolum proxima) and 113 rare for the Lithuanian fauna species of moths (Lepidoptera) registered in 23 administrative districts and municipalities of Lithuania. Material and Methods The material was collected by the authors of this report Brigita Paulavičiūtė (B.P.), Vitalijus Bačianskas (V.B.) and Vytautas Inokaitis (V.I.). The rest of the species were collected by S. Claaszen (S.C.), Romas Ferenca (R.F.), Vytautas Tamutis (V.T.) and Vytautas Uselis (V.U). Moths were collected using an entomological net and light trapping at night (160W– 500W DRL type bulb lamps were used) in different parts of Lithuania. The geographical coordinates were measured using Garmin eTrex GPS receiver. Species were identified using the following sources: Hannemann (1964), Traugott- Olsen & Nielsen, (1977), Zaguliaev et al. (1978), Danilevskij et al.

Abstract A list of 436 species of micro-moth recorded from the area around Dombóvár-Gunaras (Tolna County, SW Hungary) is presented. Most of the material is from light traps, and several rarities have been found personally by Arnold Schreurs and Imre Fazekas between 1985 and 2009. Faunistic and biological notes on 35 species are given. Structure of genitalia and morphological characteristics of wings are illustrated with figures. Specimens are deposited in the private collections of Arnold Schreurs (NL), Willy Biesenbaum (D) and in the collection of Regiograf Institute (H). One species, Coleophora alnifoliae Barasch, 1934 is new to the fauna of Hungary. 14 species of Microlepidoptera are recorded as new to the fauna of the Transdanubian Hills: Borkhausenia fuscescens (Haworth, 1828) (Oecophoridae), Coleophora pseudorepentis Toll, 1960 (Coleophoridae), C. artemisicolella Bruand, 1855 (Coleophoridae), C. onobrychiella Zeller, 1849 (Coleophoridae), Sorhagenia lophyrella (Douglas, 1846) (Cosmopterigidae), Aristotelia subdecurtella (Stainton, 1858) (Gelechiidae), Caryocolum blandulella (Tutt, 1887) (Gelechiidae), Gynnidomorpha alismana (Ragonot, 1883) (Tortricidae), Apotomis betuletana (Haworth, 1811) (Tortricidae), Eucosma flavispecula Kuznetzov, 1964 (Tortricidae), Pammene regiana regiana (Zeller, 1849) (Tortricidae), P.

As a result of the field research and after revision of materials from the Upper Silesian Museum in Bytom new data for a rare species, e.g.: Nemapogon nigralbella, Yponomeuta irrorella, Ethmia dodecea, Blastobasis glandulella, Mompha ochraceella, Acompsia subpunctella, Synanthedon loranthi, Phiaris schulziana, Cydia illutana, Grapholita lobarzewskii, Agdistis adactyla, Stegania cararia, Eublemma purpurina are given. Key words: Lepidoptera, Tineidae, Ypsolophidae, Yponoumetidae, Ethmiidae, Blastobasidae, Scythrididae, Momphidae, Gelechiidae, Sesiidae, Tortricidae, Pterophoridae, Crambidae, Geometridae, Erebidae, new data, Poland, faunistics. WSTĘP W pracy przedstawiono nowe dane faunistyczne dla 23 gatunków motyli, należących do 14 rodzin, w większości z grupy tzw. motyli mniejszych (Microlepidoptera). Nazewnictwo i systematykę przyjęto według najnowszego wykazu rozmieszczeniowego motyli Polski BUSZKO & NOWACKIEGO (2017). Okazy dowodowe znajdują się w zbiorach Działu Przyrody Muzeum Górnośląskiego w Bytomiu (USMB).

This report details the butterflies and moths observed on a trip made to northern Greece from 7th to 13th June 2009. The members of the party were Chris Manley, Lynn Fomison, Peter Davey, Peter Eeles, Robin and Pat Turner, and Tim Norriss. Chris, Robin, Pat, Lynn, Tim, Peter E, Peter D Photo © Tim Norriss The Location We were based in northern Greece, in the delightful village of Ano Poroia, situated on the lower slopes of Mount Kerkini and very close to the Bulgarian and Macedonian borders. For those of you wishing to visit the area, there are many cheap flights to the area from Gatwick, Heathrow and most major UK airports. A map showing the key sites we visited is shown below. 1 of 44 Each site we visited is identified with a letter (A through Q) in this report, the details of which are: Sunday 7th June We took an early morning flight from Gatwick and arrived at Thessalonika airport around midday. A mix up with our vehicle booking meant we had 2 cars rather than the minibus we ordered. Undeterred, we headed north to our base - the wonderful Hotel Nastou in Ano Poroia, nestled in the foothills of Mount Kerkini.

E-mail: [email protected] [Seven, E. 2019. First comprehensive faunistic list on the Lepidoptera species of Batman province (Southeastern Turkey). Munis Entomology & Zoology, 14 (2): 439-447] ABSTRACT: In this paper, Lepidoptera samples collected from Batman Province, south-east of Turkey, in 2014-2018, are evaluated faunistically. In total, detected 177 species are listed. The number of butterflies increased to 85, moths increased to 165 and total Lepidoptera species reached to 250, in the study area. Among them, 15 butterfly and 96 moth species are reported for the first time from Batman Province. Additionally, noteworthy adult and genitalia armature figures of Stueningia wolfi Hausmann, 1993 (Geometridae) and Valerietta boursini De Freina & Hacker, 1985 (Noctuidae), which are endemic, are provided. KEY WORDS: Fauna, Lepidoptera, moth, butterfly, Batman, Turkey The province of Batman, in the Southeastern Anatolia Region, is mostly steep and mountainous in the north and northeast, and the south is generally hilly. The provincial lands are more often covered with steppes and on the other hand, in some mountainous regions contains sparse oak forests. Even though, Hesselbarth et al. (1995) were given some butterfly species, first studies on the Lepidoptera fauna of Batman Province was conducted by Kemal et al. and Kemal & Koçak, in 2008 from collected samples in Kozluk district. And with result of these surveys, they were reported totally 58 diurnal Lepidopteran species.
