This request will budget funds recei\i:ed through a grant agreement with the New Mexico State Highway and Transportation Department for Litter Control litld Beautitication. The funds will be used to purchase supplies, advertisement, hiring of temporary employees, FICA-Regular and FICA-Medicare for Temponlry Employees in order to complete the conditions. fCqliired,under the grant agreement.

The Public Works Department ~stimatedthat this grant weement would be $7,900 and budgeted this amount in its FY 2001 operating budget. The Department 1$ requesting that a separate account be ~tup for accounting'.puri>oses and that the fuU amount of the agreement be budgeted.
