CAST BIOS

MARTIN MULL (Clive) – Well known for his roles in “Rosanne,” “Ellen,” “Two and a Half Men” and “Clue,” actor and comedian Martin Mull has made himself a household name with his extensive career among Hollywood’s leading actors.

Born in Chicago and raised in Ohio and Connecticut, funnyman Mull planned to become a painter when he enrolled in the Rhode Island School of Design. Although he graduated with a Bachelor of Fine Arts and a Masters in painting, Mull’s uncanny talent for stand-up comedy and satire led him to a career as a nightclub comedian, and eventually led to roles on television and film. Mull’s first role was on the nighttime absurdist soap opera “Mary Hartman, Mary Hartman,” in which his character was impaled by a Christmas tree, only to be brought back as that character’s twin brother. That led to spin-off talk shows “Fernwood Tonight” and “America 2-Night,” where Mull shared the screen with Fred Willard.

Other television credits include a guest role on “The Golden Girls,” a long-running role as the gay boss of the lead character on “Roseanne,” starring Roseanne Barr, the CBS sitcom “Domestic Life” and “Gary Unmarried.” He has had series regular roles on “The Ellen Show,” opposite Ellen DeGeneres, “Sabrina, The Teenage Witch,” “Family Dog,” “The Jackie Thomas Show,” “Two and a Half Men,” “’Til Death” and, most recently, “American Dad!” His recent guest star credits include roles on “Eastwick,” “Reno 911,” “Just Shoot Me,” “Life With Bonnie,” “Less Than Perfect,” “Reba,” “My Boys,” “Mad Love” and “Law & Order: Special Victims Unit.” He also appeared as a guest star on the popular game show “Hollywood Squares,” appearing as the center square during the show’s final season in 2004.

In his early career, Mull also recorded several albums of his eccentric comedy, including “Mulling it Over: A Musical Ouvre-View of Martin Mull,” “Near Perfect/Perfect,” “No Hits, Four Errors: The Best of Martin Mull,” “I’m Everyone I’ve Ever Loved,” “Days of Wine and Neuroses,” “In the Soop with Martin Mull” and “Martin Mull and His Fabulous Furniture in Your Living Room!”

Mull has also starred in several feature films, including “Jingle All the Way,” “Mrs. Doubtfire,” “Mr. Mom” and as Colonel Custard in the film version of the popular board game “Clue.”

Mull is also a very in demand artist whose paintings are displayed at some of the most prestigious galleries in the world. His book, Painting, Drawing and World, is a compilation of ten years of his work.

RHEA PERLMAN (Eloise) – Emmy® Award-winning actress Rhea Perlman has been a star of television, stage and film for more than 30 years. A four-time Emmy® winner for her role as Carla on the NBC hit “Cheers,” Perlman was nominated an unprecedented ten times over the eleven year series and appeared in all 273 episodes. She reprised the character in four other series: “St. Elsewhere,” “The Tortellis,” “The Simpsons” and “Frasier.”

In 2010 Perlman appeared onstage with her daughter, Lucy, in Norah and Delia Ephron’s Broadway hit Love, Loss and What I Wore at the Geffen Playhouse in Los Angeles. The pair previously performed together in the Broadway edition of the same play.

Perlman starred in the Broadway production of The Tale of the Allergist’s Wife, the off- Broadway play The Exonerated and the London West End revival of Boeing-Boeing. Her performance as the forbearing housekeeper, Bertha, earned rave reviews from critics and fans alike.

Perlman recently completed a role in “The Surrogate,” an independent movie starring John Hawkes and Helen Hunt. She starred in “Love Comes Lately,” earning praise for her role as Reisel, a long-suffering lover, and in the family film “Beethoven: The Reel Story” for Universal Home Entertainment. Other feature film credits include “Sunset Park,” “Canadian Bacon,” “Carpool” and “Matilda,” which was directed by and also starred her husband, Danny DeVito.

On television, Perlman currently has a recurring role as Tanya on HBO’s series “Hung.” Perlman has starred in more than 15 television movies, including Hallmark Channel Original Movie, “The Christmas Choir,” as well as “Houdini,” “Secret Cutting” and “How to Marry a Billionaire.” Her other television credits include the role of Zena in “Taxi,” “Law & Order: SVU,” “Kate Brasher” and “Pearl,” which she both starred in and executive produced.

Perlman began writing children’s books in 2005, producing a six-book series entitled Otto Undercover, about a precocious kid who’s a racecar driver and secret agent who loves wordplay and palindromes.

Born in Brooklyn, Perlman graduated from Hunter College in New York with a Theatre degree and was later awarded an honorary doctorate in Fine Arts. She is a mother of three and a well- known children’s advocate recognized for her involvement in a variety of charities, including LA’s Best, Children’s Action Network, Children’s Hospital Los Angeles Diabetes Center. Perlman regularly blogs on Huffington Post, introducing kids in L.A. County foster care, who are eligible for adoption. In 2010 she received the National Angel Award from the Congressional Coalition on Adoption Institute’s Angels in Adoption. She also successfully campaigned for the passage of California Fostering Connections to Success Act (AB 12), which allows children who turn 18 the option to remain in the foster care system until the age of 21. A champion of children’s literacy, Perlman supports public libraries.

NICHOLAS STARGEL (Oliver)—Nicholas Stargel began his acting career at age five by booking a role on the USA network’s television series, “Monk.” In the ensuing five years, Stargel has gone on to appear in six other television productions including Hallmark Hall of Fame’s “Front Of The Class,” CW’s “One Tree Hill,” Fox’s “Past Life,” Tyler Perry’s “Meet The Browns” and Lifetime’s “Drop Dead Diva.” He has done numerous commercials, such as Subway, Progressive Insurance and Special K cereal. Stargel has also done both national and international print work.

Stargel and his parents split time living in both Georgia and California throughout the year. When he is not acting, Stargel enjoys baseball, football, soccer and just about any motorsport. True to his artistic spirit, he is singer and a guitarist.

CAMERON DADDO (Doug) – Cameron Daddo began his career in the entertainment business over 20 years ago in Australia. He started as a children's television host and has since moved through every form of entertainment, including film and television acting, hosting, directing and producing, theatre, radio and singing, garnering much success in every outlet.

As an award-winning actor, some of Daddo's theatrical credits include “Big Momma’s House 2,” “Towards Darkness” and David Lynch's “Inland Empire.” In television, Daddo has starred in “Model’s Inc,” “F/X: The Series” and “Hope Island.” He has recurred and guest starred in many hit television shows, including “CSI,” “CSI Miami,” “Boston Legal,” “West Wing” and “NCIS.” He also recurred on the drama “24” as Vice President Hayworth and can currently be seen in Fox’s “Human Target.” Daddo recently starred in the 2011 series premiere of “Leverage” opposite Timothy Hutton.

Daddo has three independent feature films including “Passengers,” which played at the St. Tropez Film Festival and at the Cannes Film Festival. He is currently recording a new album and is developing a talk show, “In the Limo with Daddo.”

Daddo and his wife moved to Los Angeles in 1992. They have three children.

BRIDGET ANN WHITE (Karen) – Bridget Ann White grew up in Philadelphia where she competed nationally as a gymnast and dreamed of the Olympics.

She moved to New York City after attending DeSales University and was cast in The Will Rogers Follies on Broadway. She was also seen off-Broadway as Lottie Burke in Good Morning, Bill. Her early credits include ABC’s “One Life to Live” and a lead in the feature film “Childhood’s End,” directed by Jeff Lipsky.

After moving to Los Angeles, she appeared on many TV shows including “12 Miles of Bad Road,” “CSI,” “Supernatural,” “State of Mind,” “The District,” “Arli$$,” “Star Trek: Deep Space Nine” and others. White can be seen in the feature “5 Dollars a Day” with Christopher Walken and was also featured in “Evan Almighty.” Most recently she played opposite Barry Bostwick in the SpikeTV movie for television “Depth Charge.”

Currently, she spends most of her time in Los Angeles with her husband and daughter.

DANIELA BOBADILLA (Jenny) – Daniela Bobadilla showed an aptitude for performing from an early age, putting on performances for family and friends whenever she got a chance. She took part in competitive figure skating for seven years before being introduced to theater in her middle school.

She quickly fell in love with musical theater and did every play and musical that came her way. Since then she has participated in over 17 productions including Fiddler on the Roof, High School Musical and Wizard of Oz. During the next four years, Bobadilla put herself into training in singing, acting and dancing. She was discovered by a Canadian talent agent in a showcase acting class and jumped right into auditioning for TV and film.

In 2008, Bobadilla won the title of “Port Moody Idol” and kept busy with her studies until she was discovered once again by comedian George Lopez. After several rounds of auditions, Bobadilla was eventually cast as Lopez’s daughter in the Warner Brothers/Nickelodeon movie “Mr. Troop Mom,” also starring Jane Lynch. Shortly after, she made her TV debut in the CW series “Smallville” and “Supernatural.”

After seeing the success of “Mr. Troop Mom” in the United States, Bobadilla and her parents decided to pursue her career in Los Angeles. With the help of her artistic mentors, Lopez and his wife Ann, Bobadilla was introduced to a well-known Hollywood manager and signed with one of the top three talent agencies in the world, International Creative Management.

After moving to Los Angeles in 2010, Bobadilla quickly booked her first leading role in the Lifetime Movie “Lies in Plain Sight,” alongside Rosie Perez, Martha Higareda and Chad Michael Murray. In the movie, she plays a 13-year-old blind teen girl. In preparation for the role, Bobadilla went to the Los Angeles Institute for the Blind to research life as a visually impaired person, including learning to read Braille and play the piano.

Bobadilla has also worked on the FOX hit show, "Lie to Me" opposite Tim Roth, and just finished shooting a guest starring role on the upcoming Nickelodeon series "Bucket and Skinner's Epic Adventures."
