You are amazing! Evan Hamlin is a 2019 graduate from North Greenville University where he studied theatre. He has been acting and playing music since he was 8. He is a long time member of the Greer Children’s Theatre as an actor, crew member, music director, and orchestra member. Evan is happy to be back at GCT- this time for his directorial debut. He plays bass guitar for a Greenville band, Auragami, and currently works for a video production company, Primeau Productions, in Simpsonville as their digital audio manager and a video editor. Lauren has been with GCAC since Shrek in 2014 and has done eleven shows with the Greer Children’s Theater. She has been on the student board for three years. She would like to thank Evan and Ms. Robin for this amazing opportunity. Lexi is thrilled to make her debut on the creative team as music director for Junior Claus. This is Lexi's 7th production with GCT. Her favorite roles include Zazu in The Lion King Jr, Babette in Beauty and the Beast, and Violet Beauregarde in Willy Wonka Jr. She was most recently in Mauldin Youth Theatre's production of Moana Jr. Lexi enjoys performing in musicals and plays, as well as hanging out with friends and family. Lexi studies voice at the Greenville County Fine Arts Center. This fall, she won her category in the South Carolina NATS Musical Theatre competition. She is also a current Piccolo Spoleto Rising Star. Lexi would like to thank GCAC for this wonderful opportunity and the amazing team that has worked so closely with her! Junior Claus is Lily’s first show as a choreographer and she is forever thankful for the opportunity given to her. She has been in many shows and a few as dance captain at Greer Cultural Arts. When not dancing, Lily is involved in the GCAC student board as President and enjoys playing and listening to music. She would like to thank the production team, cast, mentors, and everyone involved with putting Junior Claus on stage! Jessie started theater in the seventh grade at the Greenwood Community Theater. She was in five productions there, and then moved to Greer where she started in Alice In Wonderland Jr. Later, she was on stage crew for the first time for Annie, where she fell in love with theater tech. Sophomore year, Jessie joined the GCAC Student Board. In addition to the arts, Jessie is a chiropractic assistant at a local chiropractor in Greer, and is a part of the GHS Beta Club, National Honors Society, and Academic Team. Jessie loves Greer football, Carolina Women’s basketball, and binging Netflix with her mom and sister. Morgan is excited for the opportunity to be production manager for the first time in Junior Claus. She is currently the vice president of the GCAC Student Board and has been in over 20 shows with the Greer Children’s Theatre. When not acting or studying, she enjoys writing, reading, acting, and petting her cat, Poe. She is very thankful for the Student Board and Production Team’s hard work on this production, and she would also like to thank all the adult mentors for helping the Student Board through the process. Robin has been the Set Designer/Artist for the Greer Children's Theatre for 15 years of the wonderful productions. Robin has been teaching the Camp ARK kids for 17 years and teaching art classes for the Greer Cultural Arts Council for the past 15 years. Additionally Robin has been the GCAC Supervisor for the past 10 years. She has a BA in Fine Arts from Millersville University of PA and attended York Academy of Art in York, PA. Jenny is excited to be working on costumes for Junior Claus. She is glad to be back to live theatre, even if things look a little different. Jenny began working on the costume committee for her daughter's first school play six years ago and found a love for it. She would like to thank the production team and parent volunteers for their help and support with this fun show. Greg is originally from Cleveland, Ohio. He graduated from Clemson University with a dual major in Theater and Electrical Engineering. Greg enjoys working as a lighting designer. He was worked on various shows in upstate South Carolina, including many for GCT. Of the shows he has designed, Lion King Jr, Mary Poppins, Elf Jr, and Beauty and the Beast are his favorites. He hopes you enjoy the show! Erin Poinsette is excited to be back at Greer working on the production team. In the past, she has helped work backstage and as spot operator for several theatres in the Upstate. Most recently, she was the spot op for GCT’s production of Frozen Jr. She would like to thank Greg for sharing his lighting expertise and Ms. Robin for allowing her to help with this production. Cohen Clark is thrilled to return to the stage with Greer Cultural Arts to play the role of Taylor. This is his fourth play with GCAC, having been a part of Elf Jr, Annie, and Willy Wonka Jr. He previously appeared in Oliver and A Christmas Carol as Tiny Tim with the Greenville Theater, and was cast as JoJo in Mauldin's Seussical performance before COVID-19 shut it down. Cohen would like to thank his directors and cast for a great and safe experience returning to the place he feels most at home: the stage. Cohen loves singing, dancing, and acting along with swimming and hanging out with his friends, younger brother and family. Briana Clary is a compliance coordinator at Crossroads Treatment Center. This is her first time on the GCAC stage since Scrooge the Musical in 2009. She recently revived her community theater career as Doris Walker in Miracle on 34th Street and Aggie Wheeler in the The Game’s Afoot at Easley’s Foothills Playhouse. She is excited and grateful for this opportunity. In her free time she enjoys hosting parties for her family and friends. She would love to thank her husband Matt, family, and friends for always supporting her dreams. She would also love to thank the amazing cast and crew of Junior Claus. Olivia Frazier is so excited to finally be back on stage! This is her 5th show with GCAC. She was 1st cast as the White Rabbit in Alice in Wonderland, Jr back in 2018. Since then, Liv has enjoyed roles such as Veruca Salt in Willy Wonka, Jr. and Rafiki in Lion King,Jr. She has also worked with other theaters in the Upstate over the past few years.
