139- Hoofstuk4 Die Omgewing En Agtergrondsgeskiedenis
-139- HOOFSTUK4 DIE OMGEWING EN AGTERGRONDSGESKIEDENIS VAN NOORDELIKE GAUTENG "The boots of the archaeologist, feet of clay, often appear bogged down in the reality of the past. Would that foot simply pass by leaving an empty trace or would the boots be filled with the person of the archaeologist and with the meaning of the past?" (Ian Hodder, Reading the past 1995:xiv). 1.
