The parcel number is APN 007-361-0221 and it is located in Section 28, Township 5 N, Range 7 W of the Mt. Diablo Base Meridian, as seen on the Petaluma 7.5-minute USGS quadrangle. The property was intact as Block 40 of the Petaluma East subdivision from 1857 until 1914-15, when two small lots were carved out in the southwest
