The region includes Bucks, Chester, Delaware, and Montgomery counties, as well as the City of Philadelphia, in Pennsylvania; and Burlington, Camden, Gloucester and Mercer counties in New Jersey. Of the 525 persons who were injured, one erewmember of train No. 0714 died 6 days after the accident. Equipment damage was estimated at $1,940,312.
