Zusätzlich gibt es ein ausführliches Regiegespräch mit dem bekannten Filmemacher. Family Romance, LLC – ein Spielfilm mit dokumentarischem Einfluss Die neue Doku-Fiction von Werner Herzog thematisiert ein sehr außergewöhnliches Konzept: Die Firma „Family Romance“ in Japan, gegründet und geführt von Yuichi Ishii, vermietet Personen für verschiedene Anlässe. Ob für eine Familienfeier, als Ersatzvater oder als Ehemann. Die Vermietung bringt vor allem eines: Die Menschen, die sie nutzen, sind nicht allein. Für den Film spielt Ishii, CEO von „Family Romance“, höchstpersönlich die Rolle des Ersatzvaters für die zwölfjährige Mahiro, deren Vater seit zehn Jahren verschwunden ist. Und das macht die eigentlich fiktionale Erzählung zu etwas Besonderem. Die Kamera begleitet die beiden in ihrem „normalen“ Alltag, ohne einem festgelegten Ablauf zu folgen – authentisch, lebensecht und doch inszeniert. Werner Herzog spielt hier mit verschiedenen Genres, pendelt zwischen Fiktion und Wahrheit. Doku-Fiction kostenlos auf MUBI Auf MUBI ist die neue Doku-Fiction nun am Freitag, den 3. Juli 2020, für 24 Stunden kostenlos abrufbar. In einem zusätzlichen Gespräch erfährt man zudem mehr über die Intentionen des Filmemachers und seine Erfahrungen während des Drehs. Interessant ist beispielsweise, dass intelligente Übersetzungsprogramme bei der Verständigung zwischen Herzog und den „Schauspielenden“ geholfen haben. MUBI hat sich als kuratierter Streaming-Dienst zum Ziel gesetzt qualitativ hochwertige (Arthouse-)Filme in seinen Portalen zur Verfügung zu stellen. Film, ili bolje rečeno tehnologija pokretnih slika, je usred izuzetno dinamične tehnološke revolucije, čije posledice su sveobuhvatne i odnose se, kako na proces proizvodnje pokretnih slika tako i na načine distribucije i prezentacije. Nasuprot tome, sadržaj i forma u kojoj se taj sadržaj prezentuje slede logiku svoje evolucije koja, svakako, koristi tehničke inovacije, ali se u mnogo većoj meri razvija nezavisno i pre svega pod uticajem kreativnih umova koji tehniku koriste za stvaranje pokretnih slika.

Prior to becoming the most dominant cultural product of the modern age, the film began its history as a journalistic concept. The first films made by the brothers Auguste and Louis Lumière in the late 19th century were documentaries. The first film made at the beginning of the 20th century in Serbia was also a type of a newsreel, a documentary. Some of the first cinema owners and cinematographers were journalists. This paper explains the development of documentary film in Serbia, which, in addition to being a film genre, also became a television genre in the second half of the 20th century. The goal of this paper is to show the development path starting from the first feature film and newsreel, to television news - one of the most frequent TV programs of the moment – by using the example of Serbia. Key words: documentary, newsreel, television, TV news INTRODUCTION Studies conducted worldwide show that television is still the most dominant mass medium1. The combination of image and sound was and still is most appealing to audiences who believe more in what they see than what they read or hear. Danica Acimovic quotes scientific evidence and claims that, ―… people remember longest what they see; more than what they feel and hear‖ (Aćimović 2004, 9).

As a source of emotion, it allows us to reflect on ourselves and on our own identities. EMOTION OF FILM Most European films are only shown in the country in which they were produced and are rarely distributed across borders. This is even more striking when we consider that more than 60 % of all films released in the EU are European, but they only account for one third of the cinema audience. The European Parliament created the LUX FILM PRIZE to enhance the distribution of high-quality European films and to stimulate European debate. The distribution of LUX films across Europe has been made easier by the European Parliament’s support in subtitling the three films of the official competition in the EU’s 24 official languages, helping to produce a national copy of the final films for each country. This has resulted in a larger audience, boosting the films’ market chances. At a time when new borders are being drawn across Europe, countries are building walls, society is becoming more and more divided and perspectives are narrowing, cinema, as a cultural mass medium, can be viewed as an opportunity to better understand each other, to cross these borders and, above all else, to share experiences.
