THE REPUBLICAN VOTERS OF LYNDHURST

Several weeks ago the United Zabnskie Clubs endorsed Judge John B. Babriskie for State Senator^ and gave as their reasons his fine personal qualifications and his irreproachable reputation. This week, in view of new developments, we would like to call to the attention of Lyndhurst voters a confusing situation arising in i the contest between Judge Zabriskie and Mr. Harper, for this nomina tion. ' ...... ’ This confusion is caused by a small group of local men supporting Mr, Harper, who instead of presenting the good qualifications of their own candidate are seeking only to tarnish the reputation of Judge Zabriskie by spreading the story that Judge Zabriskie, if electe’d, will be controlled by othefs. Whoever knows Judge Zabriskie knows these stories to be absolutely false, but knows also that they are the only stories available against Judge Zabriskie, whose reputation in invulnerable to any other kind aL attack. 2______Judge Zabriskie is not, and never has been, controlled by anyone but, on the contrary, his whole political career and reputation stamps him as the one outstanding man in Bergen County who has clearly demonstrated his absolute independence of all political groups «r leaders. Judge Zabriskie is fifty years old and has been a life-time resident SHALL QUALIFICATIONS, of Bergen County. He has served the County, with unblemished record as Assistant Prosecutor, County Cbunsel and County Judge. He can stand on his own ieet and has carved out his own en viable reputation. INDEPENDENCE Anyone who tries to slander Judge Zibri.->kie by calling him a controlled candidate can only mean to confuse and evade the one vital issue, which is:— AND A FAIR CHOICE BETWEEN THE RIVAL CANDIDATES, AFTER A CAREFUL JUDGEMENT, BASED UPON THEIR PER SONAL FITNESS, ABILITY AND PAST REPUTATION! Such a judgmet is all that is aJked of you in making YOUR COURAGE COUNT? choice. . . .
