The developers shall maintain such fences to the satisfaction of the Local Planning Authority until all development, the subject of this permission, is completed. The level of land within the fenced area shall not be altered without the prior written consent of the Local Planning Authority. 8 Notwithstanding the provisions of The Town and Country Planning General Permitted Development Order 1995 (or any order revoking and re-enacting that Order with or without modification), no further windows shall be inserted in the approved elevations of the development hereby approved, without the prior written approval of the Local Planning Authority. 9 Notwithstanding the provisions of the Town and Country Planning (General Permitted Development) Order 1995 (or any order revoking and re-enacting that Order with or without modification), no extensions, windows other than any expressly authorised by this permission shall be erected without the grant of further specific planning permission from the local planning authority. 10 Prior to the commencement of any other part of the development hereby permitted, the access(es) to the site shall be laid out and constructed in accordance with the following requirements:- (i) any gates, barriers or other means of enclosure shall be erected a minimum distance of 6 metres back from the carriageway of the existing highway and shall open into the site; (ii) provision shall be made to prevent surface water from the site/plot discharging onto the existing highway NOTE: You are advised that a separate licence will be required from the Local Highway Authority in order to allow any works in the adopted highway to be carried out. The local office of the Local Highway Authority will also be pleased to provide the detailed constructional specification referred to in this condition. 5 11 Prior to the first use of the development the vehicular access, parking and turning facilities shall be formed in accordance with the submitted drawing [Reference 2889- 05].

These had been circulated to all Councillors, published on the village website, and were available to anyone who wanted to see them via the Parish Clerk. Agreed that the minutes were acceptable; this was carried unanimously, and they were signed accordingly. 3. Matters Arising from the Minutes. No matters arising 4. Reports. The following reports were presented to the meeting: a) Well Institute Trustees. Well Institute Trustees – Mark Sampson reported that the trustees have met informally once or twice this last year, building still standing, have plans for Institute which were sponsored by Mr Glatman, and at the moment the Institute is technically financially embarrassed. The trustees have ideas but just need to realise them, exploring other money sources. Suggested that they match fund, SIL money – 50% of a charge of £55 psm floor area upstairs and downstairs – apply to PC who are guardian of funds, comes out in April and October. Nicky Smith can advise on grants – Awards for All, Yorventure, Tarmac all gave grants for the playing field b) Well Quoits Club. No report c) Well Oiled Club. (read out by JH) The club continues as usual and at present has 22 members and has had 5 deliveries in the past 12 months, achieving modest savings of about 4p per litre over individual orders.

Cooper SUMMARY: Underground dissolution of thick gypsum beds in the Edlington Formation and Roxby Formation of the Zechstein sequence in North Yorkshire, England, has resulted in a 3 km-wide and 100 km-long belt of ground susceptible to foundering. Within this belt a large subsidence depression at Snape Mires, near Bedale, was largely filled with lacustrine deposits in the later part of the Late Devensian and during the Flandrian. South of Snape Mires the Nosterfield-Ripon-BishopMonkton area has suffered about 40 episodes of subsidence in the past 150 years, and the presence of several hundred other subsidence hollows indicates considerable activity from the later part of the Devensian onwards. The linear and grid-like arrangement of these subsidence hollows indicates collapse at intersections in a joint- controlled cave system.
