Argyro Koliogiorghi was born in Athens in 1982. She has a degree in harmony and counterpoint by Panagiotis Adam and she is in the first year of a fugue course under Alexandros Kalogeras. She attends music technology seminars and Music for media under Alexandros Mouzas, contemporary music, orchestration and harmony at the piano under Alexandros Kalogeras, technical analysis and theory of music under Panagiotis Adam. In 2011 she participated in the Silent Film Festival of Michael Cacoyannis Foundation composing music for the film “The Phantom Carriage” of Victor Sjostrom. She started piano at the age of 6 at the conservatory of Chalkis “Nicos Skalcotas” from which she obtained her degree in piano under Foteini Triantafyllou. In 1997 she took part in nationwide piano competition of Χ.Ο.Ν and won the second prize. She has attended many piano seminars under Theodor Paraskivesco, Philippina Philipova and Frank Wibaut. She is also an environmental engineer graduate of the Technical University of Crete. Giorgos Skrivanos was born in Athens in 1984. He graduated with his flute Diploma in 2005 with honors degree in flute class of Professor Iwona Glinka at the Municipal Conservatory of Patras. In July 2009 he graduated from the Royal Music Academy in The Hague in the Netherlands taking a Bachelor of Music in the flute class of the teachers Rien de Reede, Thies Roorda, orchestral solo Emily Beynon, Kersten McKall and piccolo flute Patricia Morris. He continued his studies at the Royal Music Academy in The Hague in the Netherlands with Professor Thies Roorda and graduated in 2011 with the title of Master in Music Performance. He has given concerts and recitals of chamber music with various ensembles in Greece, Netherlands and France. He has played as a soloist with the Orchestra of Patras with maestro Saulius Sondeckis and Dimitri Botini. In 2006 he participated as a soloist with the student orchestra of the Municipal Conservatory of Patras its world premiere composition by composer Theodore Antoniou (maestro Theodore Antoniou). Also in September of 2008 was selected by the Athens State Orchestra to join as a new soloist at the Athens Concert Hall the Concerto in D Major for Flute and Orchestra by Carl Reinecke under the supervision of maestro Stefanos Tsialis. He is a member of the Orchestra of Patras (Maestro Dimitri Botinis). Since December 2010 is a member of the Orchestra of Modern Music of ERT. He is also associated with the contemporary music ensemble of the Greek Composers' Union (Artistic Director Theodoros Antoniou), with the Symphony Orchestra of the Royal Academy in The Hague, the Municipal Symphony Orchestra of Athens, the Orchestra of Patras and the child Opera scene of the Greek National Opera. In July 2008 and 2009 he attended on scholarship ACANTHES seminar with Professor Mario Caroli specializing in contemporary music and contemporary flute techniques. He has actively participated in seminars with Peter Lukas Graf, Trevor Wye, William Bennett, Phillipe Pierlotte, Will Offermans, Susan Milan, Lisa Ruoho. Alexandros Michailidis studied the clarinet at the Synchrono Conservatory of Thessaloniki (Greece ) under professor K. Papadopoulos. After winning scholarships from the Greek and the Dutch states he continued his studies at the Conservatoire Royal de Musique de Mons ( Belgium ) under professor Ronald Van Spaendonck and at the Conservatorium Maasatricht (Holland) under professor Leo Van Tol. During his studies he specialized in the bass clarinet receiving lessons from professors such as Harry Sparnaay, Jean‐Marc Volta and Henri Bok. He also attended master classes under Petko Radev, Aurelian Popa, Bela Kovacs, Walter Boeykens, Florent Heau, Ralph Manno και Armand Angster. He took part in several International Festivals such as the Ohrid International Festival, the Paxos Spring Festival with the Ensemble Modern of Frankfurt and the Masters on Stage in Amsterdam. He won the 3rd prize in the Jeunesses Musicales Competition (Romania 1996) and the 2nd prize in the 2nd International Competition of French Music (Bulgaria 1998) As a soloist he played the European premiere of the concertino for clarinet and orchestra “Rare Sugar” by Nigel Westlake (2007). In 2009 he played the Greek premiere of the same piece with the Athens State Orchestra. He played with orchestras such as the Sani International Festival Orchestra, the Walter Boeykens Clarinet Choir, the Thessaloniki’s State Orchestra, the Orchestra of Colours, and with the Athens Camerata – The Friends of Music Orchestra. He has recorded for the Bulgarian Radio and he is a member of the Orchestra of Modern Music of the Greek Radio. Kostas Kosmas began his studies at the Attic Conservatory in Athens under professor Ioannis Christofilos, obtaining his BA in composition. Then, to this day he’s attending composition lessons with the use of Music Technology under Professor Alexandros Mouzas. He has completed a two‐year course in the department: "Music Technology" at the Musical Act Conservatory and has taken part in seminars on "Orchestration Techniques" under Stefanos Korkolis and in the sixth summer course of the Ionian University on "Composition ‐ Music and Video, Music ‐ Theatre ‐ Dance, Music and Painting. " At times he has been conductor in the Philharmonic Paralio Astros, Arcadia, the Municipal Band St. Kirikou Ikaria of Ptolemais and Kozani Municipal Band Thera (Santorini). He has attended music spelling system (dictée) courses in Vienna, by Professor of Polymenakos Nikolaos (Vienna Music Academy). Several of his works have been performed in Greece and abroad with most characteristic the small secular oratorio for 5 voices and traditional orchestra on “Karagiozis from Santorini”, presented at the Santorini Palace Gyzi accompanied by relevant visual illustrations (engravings) Karagiozis of the Santorini from the German Heidi Bauerle. He is currently working as a secondary education professor, in a Music School in Athens and has served as a special supervisor in the national exams committee, in the special subject of musical‐audio capabilities control. Vassilis Billas was born in Athens in 1993. His music education began with Anastasia Skarpelis and the pianist Christina Chousianakos. At that same period he registered for the philharmonic band of the city of Artemis, where he got his first trumpet lessons (by J.Xenofondas). In 2006, after examinations, he successfully enrolled at the Experimental Musical School of Pallini municipality to begin his studies. He started his first clarinet lessons in K. Lioudakis' class (Athenaeum conservatory, St. Dellaportas' class) and became member of clarinet group of the school (led by K. Lioudakis). He also took part in several events outside the school (Gazi, Janus etc.). In the same year he became member of the orchestra of the Youth Greek Radio and TV orchestra (led by N. Patrikidis), he appeared in different events inside and outside the region of Attiki. He also attended seminars with J. Zurl (H.v.Karajan Akademie of Berliner Filarmoniker/«World Orchestra for Peace»‐V.Gergiev), Al.Carbonare (Principal Clarinetist of the Santa Cecilia Orchestra in Rome), K. Tiliako (Principal Oboist of National Opera of Greece) etc. Today, he is a member of the orchestra of the Youth Greek Radio and TV orchestra, the orchestra of Pallini Music School (led by S.Kasianis and Ch. Mitsakis) and the music band of Artemis municipality (led by G.Kaloudis). He also took part as an extra member in the orchestra of Athens Conservatory (led by L. Karitinos), the Deutshe Schule Athen (led by Dr.Marianne Danner), the Athenian youth orchestra (led by P. Sergiou) etc. He has realized a recording as a soloist, in live broadcast by the Greek Radio Third Programme (music radio station). For the time being, he is continuing his theoretical studies in Mc George conservatory under Er. Pergamian (Attic Conservatory, class I.Christofilou), piano under V.Vlachou, (National Conservatory of Athens, class Fr.Kazakopoulou‐ Conservatoire Européen de Musique de Paris, Diplôme supérieur/Diplôme de maîtresse). Konstantina Ventouri‐Roussou was born in Athens in 1994. In 2003 she started having flute lessons at “Philippos Nakas Conservatory” taught by Katrin Zenz and later on by Dimitris Fotopoulos. In 2009 she took part in a contest of young flutists "Flute meetings 2009" in Larissa where she was given a commendation. She also participated in the Symphony band of "Philippos Nakas Conservatory" conducted by Efstathios Kiossoglou. She joined other flute ensembles and took part in chamber music performances and other music events conducted by well known conductors such as Dimitris Fotopoulos, Meropi Kollarou, Yiannis Papagiannis. She also attended master classes, workshops and seminars given by distinguishing Greek and foreign flautists. She performed at well known Concert Halls such as at the "Megaron The Athens Concert Hall", the "Greek National Opera", the "National University of Athens", the "Benaki Museum", the "Zappion" and the concert hall at "Philippos Nakas Conservatory". In the summer of 2011 she set up the quartet “Anemos” with young talented musicians and in the winter of 2012 as a member of the Athenian Symphony Orchestra (A.S.O.N.) she appeared at the "Megaron The Athens Concert Hall" in collaboration with the "Athens State Orchestra". At present, she is a senior student at the "Experimental Music School of Pallini" and an active member of the "Symphony Orchestra of young musicians", supported by ERT (National Greek Radio Television) and conducted by Nina Patrikidou and A.S.O.N. conducted by Pavlos Sergiou. Helen Malagardi was born in Athens in1994. She started her musical studies in piano when she was 10 years old under Mrs Elina Gabriilidou at the Conservatory “Mousikoi Orizontes”. She participated in many concerts, piano competitions and piano seminars. Since 2006 she has been attending the Music High School of Pallini. There, she started studying bassoon, under Mrs Maria Koletou. She has participated in many wind ensembles and concerts during her studies in Music High School. She is a member of the School Band and Orchestra.
