BODY From RS with circular needle, pick up and k 216 sts along purled long edge of neck strip. Rows 1, 3, 5, 7 and 9 (WS): K2, *p8, p4 k4; rep from * to last 10 sts, p8, k2. Rows 2, 4 and 8 (RS): P2, *k8, p4; rep from * to last 10 sts, k8, p2. Row 6: P2, *4/4 RC, p 4; rep from * to last 10 sts, k8, p2. Row 10: P2, *k8, p4; rep from * to last 10 sts, k8, p2. Rep Rows 1-10 until piece measures 5 in. (12.5 cm) from pick up row, end with a WS row. Purl 2 rows. Beginning with a k row, work in St st for 6 rows.
