PAGE 1 OF 3 Speaking Topics Digital Disruption The Technology Transformation of the Real Estate Business 90 Minutes | Large Screen | Opening Sessions Many speakers teach technology but few bring both a dynamic strategic vision of where it’s going along with a practical nuts and bolts understanding of its application and potential in the real estate space as does Swanepoel. This high tech-high touch video rich presentation will keep you at the edge of your chair from beginning to end. You will be disturbed, scared, entertained, delighted, and kept laughing as he gives you a peek into the cutting edge technology in development and not yet released. NOTE: This presentation is best suited for 90 minutes and should be viewed on a large screen with good audio. This is a big room blast and is suitable for any audience as an opening session. Q&A is not applicable. This presentation is updated twice per month and almost every presentation unique. The D.A.N.G.E.R. Report The Definitive Analysis of Negative Game Changers Emerging in Real Estate 45-90 Minutes | USA or Canada | Q&A Added When things are going well it’s often hard to imagine it being any other way. The goal of the DANGER Report is to provide real estate leaders and professionals with a comprehensive and objective analysis of the most significant dangers and risks that could possibly impact the real estate industry. The dangers covered in the presentation are not predictions, they are potential threats facing real estate brokers and agents today. NOTE: This presentation can be tailored from 45 minutes to 3 hours. Most frequently requested is 45-60 minutes for a single session, or 75-90 minutes for an overview of all sections. Q&A is often added. There is a totally unique presentation for the U.S. and a short one for Canada. Talks are based on the DANGER Report (USA) published in 2015 and the DANGER Report (Canada) published in 2016. PAGE 2 OF 3 Real Estate Trends Tracking the Most Significant Shifts in Real Estate 60-90 Minutes | Broker Focused | Workshops or Leadership Retreats The Real Estate Industry is changing from a Mom and Pop cottage industry to a consolidated, Wall Street-driven industry that is focused on scalability and ROI. Continuous change, innovation, and new business models create both concern and opportunity. Having published an annual 160+ page Report for the last decade, Swanepoel is widely accepted as the leading authority and visionary on trends in the real estate brokerage industry. His talks cover the full spectrum of current trends. NOTE: This talk has enough content for 90 minutes, although it can be scaled back to 60 minutes. The presentation is suitable for brokers and agents but is slanted more toward brokers. It is ideal for workshops, think tanks, and leadership retreats and can, if so requested, include Q&A. Talks are updated every 90 days and are based on the latest Swanepoel Trends Report (2016 edition was published 2.1.16) Safari of Self Discovery 7 Skills to Master Business and Life 75-90 Minutes | Large Screens | Highly Visual Africa-born Swanepoel shares the distinctive parallels between the African jungle and our concrete jungle, revealing the wisdom we can learn from nature. This engaging keynote presentation is far more than a talk. It’s a high-energy, life-changing experience that transports attendees into an “African Safari” with awe-inspiring visuals, stimulating stories, and revealing breakthroughs. This presentation redefines how people view and comprehend themselves and others, inspiring and energizing them to develop more positive and optimistic ways of connecting with the instinctive skills and strengths residing in all of us. The presentation is accompanied by a free three minute online quiz that has been taken by over 500,000 people. NOTE: This talk is highly visual and is best delivered on a large screen. It is 75-90 minutes in duration and cannot be shortened. It is suitable for all audiences and has been delivered to project managers, artists, engineers, real estate agents, dentists, etc. It is based on Swanepoel’s New York Times bestseller, “ Surviving Your Serengeti.” PAGE 3 OF 3.

  • ADDENDUM to COVER STORY: After the May 16 Issue of Real
ADDENDUM TO COVER STORY: After the May 16 issue of Real Estate Technology News went to press, we received additional information regarding court testimony from GAC’s non-compete lawsuit against five former IT workers from its GATORS division and their new employer Lenders First Choice. In the sidebar on p. 3 of this issue, “Rumors surround GATORS’ fate,” we include information from the affidavit of one of the former employees, Norm Gottschalk, in which he claimed he met with GAC President Rich Snedden at a café in Pittsburgh in late 2005. According to his statement, he, fellow GATORS team member Chris Behning and Snedden discussed possible outsourcing of GAC’s software development to India and/or phasing out GATORS. Gottschalk claimed that Snedden told Behning that he should update his resume and have a contingency employment plan in place for 2006. However, according to recently obtained testimony, Snedden claimed that the comment about updating the resumes was a joke among friends, as Behning and Gottschalk were also joking about not being able to approve a purchase over $2,500 without appropriate signatures because they were now owned by Fiserv. He said the conversation took place over a holiday drink, and GAC’s Kevin McCarthy, Bill Stevens and Randy Ruff were also present. • DANGER Report: Looking Back & Moving Forward Let's Be Honest
Episode 15: DANGER Report: Looking Back & Moving Forward Let's be honest – REALTORS® face an ever-changing industry. With emerging tech, growing trends, and a booming market, it’s vital to keep up. Join me, Gilbert Gonzalez, CEO for the San Antonio Board of REALTORS®, as I get real with experts on what REALTORS® need to know in this industry. It's time to Get Real. GG (00:23): A few years ago, NAR commissioned a report from real estate consultant, Stefan Swanepoel, which details 50 threats, risks, and challenges that real estate industry is facing today or could face in the near future. T3 Sixty is an advisory and management consultancy offering real estate consulting, trends research and analysis in residential real estate. With us today is Clint Skutchan, VP of Organized Real Estate with T3 Sixty. So, thank you for joining us, Clint. CS (00:49): Oh my pleasure. Thanks for having me. GG (00:51): Even though the initial report came out in 2015, it uncovered a lot of threats and opportunities in the industry that were still very relevant today and is interesting to see how things have progressed over the years. We're six years into it, and what predictions may have been fulfilled, which is what we want to talk about today. So, I wanted to start with some basics around the report. DANGER stands for Definitive Analysis of Negative Game-changers Emerging in Real Estate. And its goal was to help every brokerage, MLS and association think through some fundamental threats and changes that may be coming to the real estate industry.
