FROM THE RECTORS’S DESK Dear Faithful, After His resurrection and before His Ascension, Jesus tells His disciples He will send them the “Spirit of Truth”. He is the truth because He is God - Our post modern world holds that there is no truth that trans- cends time and is permanent. This false view is implied in some popular saying such as “have it your way” and “create your own reality”. Consequently everything is permitted and humankind is not able to attain any objective truth. This thought offers to the media the full probability of manipulating the people and their opinions rather than communicating the truth. We are freed of this slavery when Jesus says that He sends us the Spirit of Truth and that He is the truth. We ask humbly for the grace to be faithful to the truth and remain always a servant of truth. Our eternal sal- vation depends on it.

Very truly yours, Canon Benoît Jayr INSTITUTE OF CHRIST THE KING SOVEREIGN PRIEST ST STANISLAUS BISHOP & MARTYR PARISH Announcements and Upcoming Events
