Petersburg to Kake via south shore of .

From Petersburg one would paddle south down the , west on then turn north up Rocky Pass to Kake. This route is 98 miles and has many outstanding areas to explore. Totem Bay, the Level Island group and Keku Strait to name a few. This is a shoreline route but requires paddling Wrangell Narrows and Rocky Pass which are two very strong current areas that require tidal planning.
