Foundation Priority Programmes West Midlands South Thank you for your interest in the Foundation Priority Programmes available in WM South. We have 15 programmes available offering experience in Medical Education, Leadership and Digital Innovation. Employing Organisation FPP Post and Incentives Hereford County Hospital, Wye Valley x3 Education Foundation Posts NHS Trust ➢ Postgraduate Certificate in Education at F2 ➢ 80% clinical and 20% education at F2 University Hospitals Coventry and x6 Leadership Foundation Posts Warwickshire (UHCW), George Eliot ➢ Linked to Leadership Programme Hospital and South Warwickshire NHS ➢ Quality Improvement Project (QIP) Foundation Trust ➢ Peer Support and Management ➢ Undertaken during the F2 year x6 Digital Health Innovation Posts ➢ Links with Local Universities ➢ Develop skills for Delivering Care in a Digital World ➢ Six Workshops, Evaluative Project and Mentoring ➢ Course Certificate and Associate Membership of Faculty of Clinical Informatics ➢ Undertaken during the F1 year Education Foundation posts – Wye Valley NHS Trust – Hereford Hospital Following successful completion of your F1 year, you will be funded through a PG Cert during your F2 year. To ensure you have adequate time and teaching experience your F2 year will be 80% clinical and 20% educational during your ITU and Palliative care placements. This programme spans your 2 year Foundation programme. Shortly after starting you will meeting with Dr Ingram to receive and introduction pack with resources including suggested TED talks, reading list etc. There will be quarterly meeting throughout the two year programme. Other benefits include: paired learning with a graduate training manager including shadowing, an Insights profile, a “Lean for Leaders” 5 day project, an invite to the first day of the 3 day “Practical Leadership” course at UHCW. You will be expected to present your project at the Hospital Grand Round. An initial meeting discussing expectations and you will be given an information pack including an outline of program, expectations, contacts and suitable references and an encrypted memory stick. You will be required to complete the e-LfH digital module and attend 12 two hour workshops to be delivered over the two year by Tim Robbins in collaboration with Warwick Business School and the Institute of Digital Healthcare. You will be able to spend time shadowing informatics personnel in your F2 year and will be supported to achieve successful application Associate Member of the Faculty of Clinical Informatics at the end of the programme should you wish to pursue this.
