The Museum o f the Society has lately received a val uable d i o f m M ad ition in the ser es So ersetshire inerals, d b e . contribute and arranged y Mr. Spencer G o Perceval . The Council have a lso the pleasure to report that they have received two valuable contributions of objects o f H i R a interest from s Excellency the ajah of Sar wak . In accordance with a R esol ution passed at the last G M n m m w as d f w d d H er eneral eeti g, a e orial uly or ar e to ’ Ma S o f for H jesty s ecretary State the ome Department, urgin g the importance o f placin g the more interesting m o f u th e onuments antiquity nder supervision of the State . ’ The Council regret that H er Majesty s G overnmen t have n ot as ye t thought fit to take any steps towards carrying u t o that object , but they earnestly trust this may be done before th e memorials o f the past history of the land are or d irretrievably lost destroye . m d n The Com ittee, uri g the past year, have thought it d esirable to charge a small en tran ce fee for a dmission into m the Museu , and they have the pleasure to report that, w m of d hile the nu ber v isitors has greatly increase , the receipts from this source will go fa r toward s providing n ew cases required for the more suitable classificatio n o f th e t n f n n n various collec io s o i terest belo gi g to the Society.
