2014 CITY V COUNTRY – INAUGURAL MATCH PLAYED AT ADELAIDE

OVAL

City cruised to a comfortable 31-point win against Country in the 2014 MAC Challenge at Adelaide Oval on Easter Sunday. Seeking to level the overall win-loss tally at 4-4, City was seriously challenged by last year’s victor during the third term but responded after the final change to enjoy a comfortable win during the curtain-raiser to Adelaide’s AFL clash with Greater Western Sydney. Playing for the first time on the redeveloped Adelaide Oval, players from both sides revelled in the opportunity to test themselves in front of a strong crowd.
