Mix until smooth and pour into cake pan. Bake at 350 for 20-25 minutes Cut stems off strawberries and cut in half Cut shortcake into 2 inch cubes Watermelon Popsicles Take a skewer and alternate strawberries and shortcake Melt chocolate in micro wave. Pour in a large plastic bag and Kiwi (6) cut the corner Seedless watermelon 3 ½ cups Drizzle over kabobs Coconut milk ½ cup Lemon juice 1 Tbsp Twix Caramel Apple Salad Chocolate chips 1 Tbsp I pkg of vanilla instant Sugar 5 ½ Tbsp pudding ¼ cup of milk Add watermelon, 4 Tbsp of sugar and lemon juice to a blender 1 large tub of whipped to puree the mix. After well blended pour into Popsicle mold cream about 2/3 of the way full. Sprinkle chocolate chips over the 1 to 2 pkg of Twix tops. Freeze three and a half hours. 3 to 4 granny smith apples Whisk coconut milk and 1 ½ Tbsp of sugar and chill for thirty Caramel sauce (optional) minutes. Remove popsicles from freezer and pour an even lay- Prepare vanilla pudding according to the box instructions and er of coconut milk in the mold. pour into whipped cream before it sets. Pour in ¼ cup of milk Return to freezer and let chill for 45 minutes. Dice the Twix in half Blend kiwi and sugar together until well blended. Chill for 30 Dice the granny smith apples minutes. Mix all ingredients together Remove popsicles from freezer and pour 1 tbsp of kiwi mix- Allow it to set in the fridge for 30 minutes ture in the mold. Return to freezer for 2-3 hours. Optional: Drizzle caramel sauce on top before serving Remove popsicles from mold and enjoy! With a $22 million budget and a 96 minute run time, this so called horror film is mostly full of jump scares and suspenseful music. Advertised as the horror film of the year, the film only got a 23% on Rotten Tomatoes and 5.8 out of ten stars on IMDb. “When I first saw the trailer for the nun I thought that it was going to be super scary,” senior Anna Thelen said. “When I went to see it though, it ended up being a pretty mediocre movie with only a few jump scares.” With creaky floors and foggy hallways, “The Nun,” follows just about every horror story cliche there is. With suspense as characters turn corners and open doors, this prequel to “The Conjuring” series loses the meaning of horror. This prequel does not exactly fit clearly with the other movies in “The Conjuring” series, that scored four out of five stars on IMDb. In the “Annabelle” story, which is a spin off of the first “The Conjuring,” movie, the audience is introduced to a doll.

    INTERNATIONAL JOURNAL OF SCIENTIFIC & TECHNOLOGY RESEARCH VOLUME 8, ISSUE 08, AUGUST 2019 ISSN 2277-8616 Participant Types In Translation In Subtitle Film "The Conjuring 2: The Enfield Poltergeist Megan Asri Humaira, Rasmitadila, Achmad Samsudin Abstract— Translation of participants realized in nouns greatly influences the integrity of the meaning that the source language wants to convey. In fact, with differences in language rules, the meaning of translation in the target language can be very different from the meaning in the source language. This can lead to a misunderstanding of a series of events. The purpose of this study was to find out in depth about the types of participants in translating participants from English to Indonesian on the subtitle of the film "The Conjuring 2: The Enfield Poltergeist". This study uses a systemic functional linguistics approach with content analysis method. The results of this study were dominated by the participant range with a total of 41 elements of nouns (23.4%), and actor participants with a total of 29 elements of nouns (16.6%). Both types of participants were included in the material process which shows that the clauses contained in this movie subtitle show that the texts are a description of every process that is being carried out or is happening. Translation of participants in subtitles takes into account the use of language contained in each clause so that the delivery of messages from the source language (SL) is delivered based on the grammar or content of the message into the target language (TL) with due regard to the suitability of the grammar applicable in TL.

Horror films aim to bring the audience to deep fear. Therefore, these out of our complacency in the quotidian world, by way of negative emotions such as horror, fear, suspense, terror, and disgust, that are represented in films. To do so, horror addresses fears that are both universally taboo and that also respond to historically and culturally specific anxieties. This research focuses on the main characters, Valak and Lorraine, who lead this film to be a horror. This research is the result of an exploration into the literary reviews of the contemporary horror genre and a semiotic analysis a paranormal, Lorraine. This research concerned with the presence of material bodies in the performing sign and code of binary opposition by using signified and signifier theory. The results show that there are a few ethical and semiotic problems related to reality’s ability to actually take place within, and to break through, fictional representations identified by signs. Un ejemplo es la presencia de los universos cinematográficos expandidos, que han transfor- mado en materia comunicacional y creativa los procesos de recepción fílmica. Dentro de lo fantástico, el cine de terror tiene relevancia al presentar una narrativa transmedia vi- gente y paradigmática: el universo cinematográfico de The Conjuring, que propone una serie de estrategias basadas en la cultura participativa y el conocimiento colectivo que potencian la experiencia transmediática. El artículo trata de detallar las estrategias trans- mediáticas de dicho universo que replantean la manera en la que se consume e interac- túa con la producción fílmica, posibilitando nuevas experiencias de participación e inter- pretación dentro del cine de terror desde diversos lenguajes, medios y soportes.
