The cycle of these mural paintings was realized by Giovanni di Pietro named Lo Spagna and his collaborators between 1526 and 1530. This study was focused on the characterization of pigments, in particular the blue ones, binders and degradation products to define the conservation state of these mural paintings and localize the repaints. Portable reflection infrared spectroscopy allowed us to identify the areas to be sampled to perform deeper analyses by scanning electron microscopy with an energy dispersive spectrometer (SEM-EDS).     Riferimenti all’Umbria in PICENUM SERAPHICUM 1. Ghinato Alberto, Per una biografia di San Giacomo della Marca, “Picenum Seraphicum”, 6 (1969), pp. 41-59: in particolare pp. 47, 48, 51, 58. Fornisce informazioni bio-bibliografiche del predicatore francescano Giacomo della Marca, scolaro a Perugia nella prima metà del XV secolo. Oltre ad accennare agli studi giuridici effettuati nell’Ateneo umbro, l’a. ricorda il passaggio del Santo a Terni, come attestano i documenti scoperti fortuitamente da lui medesimo. 2. Pagnani Giacinto, San Giacomo della Marca pacificatore della montagna maceratese, “Picenum Seraphicum”, 6 (1969), pp. 72-90: in particolare pp. 77, 86, 87, 89, 90. Dopo aver descritto il difficile contesto politico-civile conosciuto dalle Marche tra la fine del XIV e l’inizio del XV secolo, l’a. si concentra sulla figura e sull’opera di Giacomo della Marca. Tra le notizie biografiche è ricordata la sua presenza a Perugia, dove per pagarsi gli studi presso l’Ateneo fece da precettore ai figli di un gentiluomo perugino. Sono riportati, inoltre, diversi episodi verificatisi durante la sua predicazione a Cascia e soprattutto a Norcia (1425). 3. Lioi Renato, Alcune lettere inedite di S.
