GX Airlines: Guangxi Beibu Gulf Airlines, known as GX Airlines, is based at Nanning Wuxu International Airport. GX Airlines commenced operations on 13 February 2015 and in November of the same year they accepted their first foreign pilots. The airline has a fleet of eight Embraer 190 aircraft (April 2017). Currently GX Airlines also offers ERJ pilots the possibility of transitioning to the A320 www.flyserra.com [email protected] after having served no less than two years of their contract and having flown 1000 hours on the ERJ as a line captain. With a warm tropical climate, it is well-known for green spaces such as the People's Park, which includes the expansive White Dragon Lake. Nanning has a warm, tropical climate, with an average temperate of 22 °C. Minimum Requirements: 1. Open to holders of a valid captain rating for: ERJ170, ERJ175, ERJ190, ERJ195; 2. Must hold a passport from a country which has diplomatic relations with the People's Republic of China; www.flyserra.com [email protected] 3. Must hold a valid and current air transport pilot license issued by a competent national civil aviation authority recognized by the People's Republic of China in accordance with the relevant requirements of the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO) Convention on International Civil Aviation and its effective Certificate of competency; 4. Maximum Age: 52 years old (inclusive) or less, 30 years old (inclusive) or more at start of contract; 5. Mandatory experience: On the Embraer family (170, 175, 190, 195), not less than 600 hours of PIC time (no simulator); 6. Proof of experience and no accident / incident record must be provided by your company or other authority; 7. English level: ICAO 4 or above; 8. No record of criminal offenses. The no criminal offences record shall be issued by the relevant government department of the country, region or country of residence, area (the country where the resident country is required, the residence permit shall be provided) and shall be legally validated by the same place – translated into Chinese; 9. Proof of security assessment without infringements issued by the original hiring airline for its work on public air transport aircraft; 10. OPC: Your last operator proficiency check must be provided and should still be valid at application; 11. Last three pages of your logbook are required. Ticket Foreign pilots may enjoy an unlimited number of domestic flights from GX Benefits Airlines or Hainan Airlines, but must comply with the relevant regulations of the Company and CAAC Foreign pilots and their immediate family members can enjoy GX Airlines and Hainan Airlines route network flights from the domestic routes at 25% of the preferential ticket rate at not more than 30 sectors. The rate does not include airport construction costs and fuel surcharges Loyalty Foreign pilots will receive a U$ 20 000,00 loyalty award after the expiry of the Award first contract and will be paid at a rate of 25% per annum for 4 years during the renewal of the contract period. Instructor If the foreign pilot has been appointed as instructor, the pilot will receive an allowance additional U$ 500 / month for flying duties and U$ 1,000 / month for simulator duties. Vacation If the pilot sells back the off days / vacation days to undertake flight duties, work then the airline will reward the pilot at U$ 800, 00 per day. www.flyserra.com [email protected] Insurance The foreign pilot will enjoy the benefits of the company’s personal insurance, benefits medical insurance and other schemes as applicable at the time during flight duties. According to China's social insurance policy, the airline is obliged to participate in social insurance for foreign pilots (social insurance includes: old- age insurance, medical insurance, unemployment insurance, maternity insurance, work injury insurance). The airline shall pay social insurance and supplementary medical insurance for foreign pilots. The cost of the individual part relevant to the foreign pilots is paid by the airline directly from the monthly wages of the foreign pilots. The airline shall, in accordance with the voluntary agreement of foreign pilots, insure for loss of income insurance. If the foreign pilot is willing to participate, the airline and the foreign pilot will each pay half of the premium. A320 rating When the ERJ190 captain has flown the ERK at GX for more than 2 years benefit and has achieved 1000 hours on the ERJ190 then the captain may be upgraded to fly the A320. As a founding executive and Head of Strategy at Avolon, his responsibilities include defining the trading cycle of the business, primary interface with the aircraft appraisal and valuation community, industry analysis and forecasting, driving thought leadership initiatives, setting portfolio risk management criteria and determining capital allocation targets. Prior to Avolon, Dick was a founding executive at RBS (now SMBC) Aviation Capital and previously worked with IAMG, GECAS and GPA following a 20-year career in the UK airline industry. Dick has a Diploma in Business Studies and in Marketing from the UK Institute of Marketing is a member of the Royal Aeronautical Society and also a Board Director of ISTAT (The International Society of Transport Aircraft Trading).
