For Immediate Release: Contact: Brian Thorpe May 18, 2016 Office: 206.577.2561 [email protected] Entercom Seattle and Portland Continue Support of Pearl Jam’s Vitalogy Foundation Fundraising to continue into 2016 after a successful first year partnership Seattle, WA – 99.9 KISW The Rock of Seattle, 107.7 The End of Seattle, and 94/7fm of Portland proudly announce that through their efforts with Pearl Jam’s Vitalogy foundation, they have jointly raised over $115,000 to benefit local charities in a single year. The radio stations pledged to give $2 of the sale of every ticket to their annual summer and holiday concerts to the Vitalogy Foundation, and because of the great success of last year’s efforts, the partnership will continue into 2016. Each station has found a non profit organization on which to focus within Vitalogy Foundation’s beneficiaries. 94/7fm’s December to Remember concert series and two-day summer festival, The Birthday Bash, will benefit the Crohn’s & Colitis Foundation Association’s Camp Oasis. The annual summer concert from 99.9 KISW, Pain in the Grass, will benefit the Downtown Emergency Feeding Program as well as the Bureau of Fearless Ideas, both of which help to better the lives of those living right in the Seattle area. 107.7 The End’s two annual concerts (Deck the Hall Ball and Summer Camp) will benefit Treehouse, a charity that helps foster youths, which the station has worked with closely in the past. Dave Richards, VP of Programming at Entercom Seattle said: “We’re humbled by the contributions and support of our collective audiences this past year, and now proud as can be to continue this partnership with Pearl Jam. There’s no better combination than seeing three stations, one world class band, and a music loving audience getting behind local causes." “We’ve listened to and worked with these stations for over two decades. It’s great to be able to collaborate with them to support standout non-profits in our local communities,” says Pearl Jam’s Mike McCready.
