Ukraine’s tourism potential is huge, but the quality of tourism products is still low. The investment volume in this sector does not guarantee its development. Tourism can become an instrument enhancing the invest- ment attractiveness of the country and its regions, while strengthening the country’s economy at the same time. Accordingly, the issue is pressing to carry out assessment and regulation with respect to the tourist attractiveness, as well as to implement a strategy of increasing the quality and professionalisation of the tourist offer.
