Perhaps less well known is that it was Albertini, founder of the Archconfraternity of the Most Precious Blood, who wanted to see his association develop a clerical branch made up of priests who would renew the Church by spreading the devotion to the Blood of Christ . Albertini believed that Gaspar was exactly the right man to inaugurate this new venture, and he did all he could to encourage his beloved spiritual son to found the Missionaries of the Most Precious Blood 1.

    ALFREDO RONCUZZI Vita e tempi del CARDINALE RUFFO a cura di Pier Giorgio Bartoli 2017 ALFREDO RONCUZZI Vita e tempi del CARDINALE FABRIZIO RUFFO di BAGNARA CALABRA a cura di Pier Giorgio Bartoli Alfredo Roncuzzi nacque a San Pietro in Vincoli il 27 dicembre del 1905 da Ernesto e Palmina Giorgini. I suoi genitori, nel gennaio del 1900 emigrarono in Argentina, ma ammalatosi gravemente il padre, nel 1905 dovettero ritornare in Romagna dove questi morì nel 1907. Con il denaro guadagnato là, la madre aprì un gran negozio a San Pietro in Vincoli dove si vendevano dai tessuti ai mobili. Alfredo, crescendo senza padre, diventava sempre più discolo e la madre lo mandò a Forlimpopoli in un convitto ed in questa località frequentò le scuole elementari. Si narra che, quando ritornava a casa per le vacanze o i fine settimana (viaggiando sul famoso tramway Meldola-Ravenna, che aveva una fermata presso il ponte sul Ronco vicino a Gambellara), venisse allontanato dai suoi coetanei a causa della sua prepotenza, tanto che la madre si accordò con un poveruomo padre di molti figli affinché, dietro compenso, gli lasciasse un ragazzo per fare da compagno di giochi ad Alfredo. Dopo poco tempo questo ragazzo scappò e disse al padre: “Fasì quel ch’avlì, amazim pu, mo da quel chi lè an gni vegh piò”. A Forlì frequentò la Scuola Tecnica dove ebbe per insegnante di lettere Maria Martinez, moglie di Aldo Spallicci. In seguito, a Ravenna, frequentò l’Istituto Tecnico Ginanni sezione Agrimensura (Geometra), seguendo gli stessi studi del conterraneo farmacista e compositore Bruto Carioli, col cui diploma si poteva accedere all’Università.
