Working hours: 14.01.2021 (Thursday), from 15:00 to 18:00 15.01.2021 (Friday), from 12:00 to 18:00 16.01.2021 (Saturday), from 10:00 to 16:15 17.01.2021 (Sunday), from 14:00 to 16:00 THE PRESS CENTRE The Press Office of FIS Ski Jumping World Cup Zakopane 2021 will be organized in the main pavilion of the Stanislaw Marusarz Ski Jumping Hill in Zakopane (Wielka Krokiew), Bronisława Czecha Street 1. Opening hours of the Press Office: 15.01.2021 (Friday), from 14:00 to 22:00 16.01.2021 (Saturday), from 13:00 to 21:00 17.01.2021 (Sunday), from 13:00 to 21:00 COVID-19 PREVENTION AND MITIGATION PLAN Competitions shall be carried out in accordance with recommendations from Polish health authorities (National Institute of Hygiene and Sanitary, Epidemiological Station), World Health Organisation, and International Ski Federation. As of 15th January 2021, there are no restrictions for accredited journalists traveling into Poland for international sports events (no PCR entering Poland, nor quarantine required) provided that entering individuals are able to prove the fact of the event being held and that they are officially entered as accredited journalists. Press Office of FIS Ski Jumping World Cup Zakopane 2021 will provide each accredited journalist with written confirmation that might be required on entering Poland. All accredited FIS passport holders are required to provide negative RT_PCR result not older than 72 hours on arrival. The result shall be entered into the FIS passport application not later than 12 hours before arrival day. All entered event participants being holders of FIS passport shall regularly follow general FIS Passport regulations, i.e. provide/fill in as required pre-entry health questionnaire, daily questionnaire, whereabouts for last 14 days prior to the event, incl. test result. In case of doubt (symptoms, contact, ambiguous C-19 testing results) person in question will be subject to antigen test on site before accreditation is issued. Decision will be made by Event C-19 Coordinator MD Stanisław Szymanik (24/7 coordination with local COVID Centre), who will coordinate the process in person. The test will be provided at the person in question’s cost. In case a test is ordered, the person in question will be required to sign a relevant consent for the LOC C-19 Coordinator to collect his/her test result from relevant laboratory/hospital. PCR TEST ON DEPARTURE Shall there be any accredited journalist who require PCR test on departure from Poland, please inform LOC as soon as possible (@ [email protected]) so these can be arranged in time. FIS SKI JUMPING WORLD CUP ZAKOPANE 25/01/2020 TEAM COMPETITION A TEAM COMPETITION FOR THE GERMANS. SATO WITH A HILL RECORD In Saturday's FIS World Cup team competition at the Stanisław Marusarz Hill in Zakopane, the German team took the unquestionable victory. The team led by the former coach of Polish team, Stefan Horngacher, won by 40 points more than the second team from Norway. The Slovenians stood on the lowest step of the podium. The Poles finished in fifth place. The competition was very exciting, and the rivalry in the second round was breathtaking. A total of 25,000 spectators on the hill and millions in front of the TV had the opportunity to watch many very long jumps of over 140 meters. But the "king of the game" was Yukiya Sato, who set a new hill record by flying 147 meters, improving last year's performance of David Kubacki by 3.5 meters! The competition at Wielka Krokiew was dominated by the Poles. The winner was Kamil Stoch who was 5.1 points ahead of Austrian Stefan Kraft and third David Kubacki.
