AbundantHope Front Pages Pdf *65-- Page 1 Political Information Apr 29, 2020 - Rebuild A Better World ? First we need to accept that the West’s economies were utterly broken before Covid-19 came along Norman Lewis: Yes, the Covid-19 crisis has resulted in unprecedented government actions. In the UK, the Treasury now expects to borrow an extra £150 billion ($186 billion), the equivalent of one-and-a-half infrastructural projects like the HS2 rail project, in four months. That's more than the country has ever borrowed, and more than in wartime. And given that a return to pre-Covid-19 normality remains uncertain, this might just be the start. Ron: WHY does the UK Treasury WANT to borrow £150 billion ($186 billion)? The UK is a sovereign nation and its government has a RESPONSIBILITY to ensure that the UK population can use its available labour force and resources to produce whatever is needed to maintain UK society in the best situation possible. IF that requires the UK Treasury to issue currency to ensure that is possible it has a duty to do that. Suggesting that the UK Treasury should incur a debt to some private banking corporation(s) to do that is not only ludicrous, it is criminal if it incurs ANY significant costs to UK citizens. All UK currency is backed by the full faith and credit of the entire UK population and so all UK legal tender should be issued by the UK Treasury for the cost of producing it. As virtually all of the said £150 billion said to be needed will be issued digitally, that cost should be negligible. Norman Lewis: This is why there has recently been talk about imposing a one-off wealth tax. The idea is that everyone - households and businesses, rich and poor - has to pay a sum equivalent to a chunk of their net assets. This would reverse taxation regimes across the world which tax income far more than the taxation of wealth. Ron: Surely that suggestion is made in jest?! No doubt the perpetrators of the pseudo coronavirus crisis hoped to close down and destroy the UK and global economy AND to use that False Flag event to give their puppet politicians and bureaucrats an excuse to steal even more wealth from stupid quiescent gentile populations in the UK and globally, BUT that is not going to happen. The Triodity of President Trump, Putin and Xi has mounted the COVID-19 operation to ensure that, among other things, the criminally usurious fractional reserve commercial banking system is eliminated and replaced with genuine national Treasury money creation and distribution systems that prevent any further stealing of wealth from the global population by banksters. This initiative is part of the establishment of Christ Michael Aton's Millennial Reign declared on 5 February 2019. Norman Lewis: Ed Conway, the economics editor at Sky News, writing in the Times, roughly calculates that a one-off 10 percent levy on all household net wealth in the UK would generate over £1 trillion ($1.24 trillion) of revenues. That would be enough to pay off all the costs of Covid-19. It would provide for the NHS for generations and reduce the national debt from wartime levels to something more like normality. Ron: The so-called national debt is a fiction of fervid Talmudic imaginations. It has no more substance that the chimerical currency produced out of thin air by the Bank of England and assorted Jew controlled commercial banks typing key strokes on computers. The current money creation and distribution system is fraudulent and hence ALL debts incurred thereunder are unlawful. AbundantHope Front Pages Pdf *65-- Page 2 Norman Lewis: First, it would be political dynamite. Taxing assets bought from already taxed income would be unfair in the extreme. And after years of austerity in which millions have suffered economic hardship, this would exacerbate divisions in society, not cement over them. Ron: Anyone seeking to impose asset or income taxes after COVID-19 is terminated should be prosecuted as a criminal. Norman Lewis: This requires political courage and a need to convince the public of the short-term hardships this will entail. Ron: WHY? WHY must the public be subjected to "short-term hardships" after CORVID-19? The demonic bankster cabal will be gone and "the public" will no longer be burdened with paying exorbitant, or any, interest or taxes directly or indirectly to those parasites. Even the "U" tax will be abolished. See eg: The "U" Tax! - http://abundanthope.net/pages/Political_Information_43/The-U-Tax.shtml. Norman Lewis: But re-energizing production is the only long-term way to generate new wealth that can raise living standards and fund public services in the future. There is not one government in the world today who is engaging the public in this conversation. Ron: Has this author been living under a rock? President Trump has been engaging the US and global public in this conversation for the last 3.5 years. Norman Lewis: If a one-off wealth tax was introduced but used to kick-start productive investment, not pay off existing debt to keep stagnant economies and businesses afloat, there might be a case for it. But this requires something that no government is willing to do - engage their electorates in an adult conversation about the problems we are facing, and the tough decisions we are going to have to make to deal with it. Ron: EVERY government will be able to kick-start productive investment by issuing its own sovereign money and currency just as soon as CORVID-19 is completed and the demonic bankster cabal that has been bleeding humanity dry for millnnia is removed. ALSO ON RT.COMLockdowns, curfews. Troops on the streets. Governments handing out free cash. This utter madness was entirely avoidable Ron: ALL cash should be free in the sense that currency should always be issued free of interest (usury). Moreover, there is no madness in a government providing cash to constitutents IF the government has forced those constituents to stop working. Indeed governments MUST provide sustenance for all constituents unable to work because of governmetn actions. “WHEN VOICES MEET”: SHARON KATZ AS MUSICAL ACTIVIST DURING THE APARTHEID ERA AND BEYOND by AMBIGAY YUDKOFF submitted in accordance with the requirements for the degree of DOCTOR OF LITERATURE AND PHILOSOPHY in the subject Musicology at the UNIVERSITY OF SOUTH AFRICA SUPERVISOR: PROFESSOR MARC DUBY January 2018 ii For Tamara, Jasmin, Brandon & Ilana iii Acknowledgements I am fundamentally an optimist. Whether that comes from nature or nurture, I cannot say. Part of being optimistic is keeping one’s head pointed toward the sun, one’s feet moving forward. There were many dark moments when my faith in humanity was sorely tested, but I would not and could not give myself up to despair. That way lays defeat and death. –Nelson Mandela It was the optimism of Sharon Katz that struck me most powerfully during a chance encounter at one of her intimate performances at Café Lena in Saratoga Springs, New York. I knew that musical activism would be at the heart of my research, but I was not prepared for the wealth of information that I discovered along the way. Sharon Katz shared her vision, her artistic materials, her contacts and her time with me. I am thankful for the access she provided. My supervisor, Professor Marc Duby, has encouraged and supported me throughout the research process. He is a scholar par excellence with the intellectual depth and critical insights that inspired several lines of inquiry in my research. Independent Board of Inquiry/Hl3^ Into ntormal Repression Phone (011) 403-3256/7 Fax (011) 403-1366 Memorandum on extreme Riqhtwina organisations in South Africa. compiled by the Independent Board of Inquiry into Informal Repression (IBIIR^ INTRODUCTION. Although Rightwing movements have been active in South Africa for decades, militant extra-parliamentary groupings on the right have shot to prominence since President FW de Klerk's parliamentary speech on 2 February 1990, when the unbanning of political organisations and the release of political prisoners was announced, and the way was paved for a negotiated settlement between the Nationalist Government and the African National Congress. The Rightwing in South Africa does not form a coherent whole. Apart from the parliamentary rightwing parties - the Conservative Party (CP) and the Herstigte Nasionale Party (HNP) - a host of extra-parliamentary organisations and movements have sprung up, the largest (and oldest) being the Afrikaner-Weerstandsbeweging (AWB). These movements range from relatively harmless intellectual think-tanks - a surprising number of intellectuals is to be found in the rightwing fold - to shadowy, ultra-militant "armies" intent on urban terrorism and, ultimately, a "Third Freedom Struggle" for the Afrikaner. On the 26th May 1990, a "Volksaamtrek" at the Voortrekker Monument outside Pretoria was attended by an estimated crowd of between 30 000 and 130 000 people - the estimate depending, for the most part, on the political affiliations of newspapers reporting on the event. Although the rally was hosted by the CP, the colours, uniforms and banners of more militant extra—pariiamentary movements were openly displayed, despite a request not to do so.
