The Changi Airport Group (CAG) has unveiled its new Singapore Food Street at Changi Airport’s Terminal 3 (T3).

Located in the transit area of T3 the new food court features 13 popular hawker stalls including traditional looking pushcarts from 1960s Singapore.

Decked out in traditional Peranakan-style décor, the food court occupies around 1,000 square meters and serves over 200 dishes from all corners of Singapore.

CAG believes that the food court will allow foreign travelers, including those in transit, the chance to experience an authentic taste of Singapore’s street delicacies without ever leaving the airport.

Ivy Wong, CAG’s senior vice president, airside concessions, said, “The Singapore Food Street is an exciting addition to Changi Airport’s diverse range of dining offerings. It brings to the airport Singapore’s colorful hawker food culture, which is a big part of the average Singaporean’s lifestyle. Not only do travelers now get to sample the best of local delights in Changi Airport, they can also dine in an environment that is uniquely Singapore.”

Hawker stalls found at the Singapore Food Street include Sin Ming Road Rong Cheng (pork rib soup), Changi Village (Malay coconut rice dish), Odeon Beef , Newton Circus Bee Hoon ( in spicy ) and Old Airport Road Fried Kway Teow (fried flat in dark sauce).
