Dr. Hyun Jin Moon graduated from the Harvard Alma mater Harvard Business School[1] Business School with an M.B.A. in 1998. He was Occupation Founder and Chairman of the Global born in South Korea but has made the United States Peace Foundation his home where he is a citizen. He and his wife Jun Sook are the parents of nine children.[4]

Career
Hyun Jin Moon founded Service For Peace in 2001.[5][6] Service For Peace is an international service and educational nongovernment organization that is recognized by the United Nations.[7][8] Service For Peace involves volunteers in ongoing community development programs throughout the world. Their programs are designed to further the growth and development of individuals and communities through the shared experience of voluntary service.[9]
Hyun Jin Moon founded the Global Peace Foundation in 2009.[10] He is active as its chairman.[11]
Hyun Jin Moon is a businessman, holding a Master of Business administration from Harvard University. He is chairman of News World Communications, Inc.[12]
In 2014, Hyun Jin Moon wrote the book Korean Dream: A Vision for a Unified Korea.[13] Shortly after, in an interview with The Korea Times newspaper, Moon stressed that all Koreans should be interested and involved in the process of Korean peninsula reunification.[14]
On November 20, 2014, the Korean Culture and Arts Publications recognized Korean Dream: A Vision for a Unified Korea as “Book of the Year” in the society category.[15] Equestrian
