According to reports from the UPD, Anthony King, 33, of Ukiah, was arrested on suspicion of burglary, lewd acts with a child and vandalism at an apartment at 625 N. State St. Police were called to the apartment by a resident who had found King asleep on the couch in his underwear along with the resident’s 5-year-old child. King’s hand was in the 5-year-old’s underwear, according to UPD reports. The resident pulled the child away from King, told him to leave and called 911. Officers responded and arrested King on the above listed charges. According to UPD reports, officers believe King got into the apartment by knocking down a fence in the back yard and entering through a partially open slid- ing glass door.
