We really need all programs to complete this survey if you have any questions please let us know. It would be really nice to have 100% participation. We are working hard to increase our participation rates. The nursing programs usually have a 100% participation rate and it would be nice to have that with the NA programs as it makes the data more accurate. Here is the link again incase you need it: https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/2019CNAAnnualReport ➢ Testing Update-Katie Testing slow but going well; reach out to Katie if you are having trouble getting students scheduled ➢ Clinical Sites There are still clinical sites available for NA students, as a lot of the private schools are still holding clinical. Please be creative in calling around and trying to find experiences for your students. Hospitals are allowing NA students for clinicals. If you have a clinical site, please try to get your students at least a day or two minimum so they can see what the job is about and get face to face with patients. Please let me know of any concerns. ➢ Site Visits- Supplies Remember to make sure and check your supplies before you have a site visit scheduled. It is rule that you have the supplies on site. There is a supply list to guide you on the Board website. ➢ Pass Rates 1-1-2020 to 6-10-2020, State the pass rates are 82% on Written and 81% on Skills. 1129 Students have tested. As compared to 2019 of the same time frame, written 86%, skills 82% and 2058 students tested. ➢ Moving Forward Clinical simulation can be renewed for an additional 90 days. We will let you know what the process will be if you need to use the next 90 days. Cindy will be looking at all the numbers of how things went during this waiver period and will report information back. This will be looked at the middle of July for the first 90 days. ➢ Test Questions for D&S Each program please send Cindy at least 5 questions to be added to the test bank. Multiple choice A-D and all have to be complete answers. All questions need to reference the Book and page you found it on. Please turn them in to Cindy prior to 6/18/2020. ➢ Innovations/Concerns/ Problems Anyone interested in serving on the Education Committee please fill out an application via this link: https://forms.gle/4aMBQPjqWBnrkGTN9 ​ Need volunteers to create a Nurse Practice Act Test for the Nursing Assistant Programs Would like to start before the end of July. Email Cindy if you are interested. Cindy thanked the team for their great work and the ability to move forward during these challenging times.
