Sample itinerary : Day 01 ______/ SIEM REAP (No meal) Upon your arrival at Siem Reap International Airport, you will be met by our local representative and thereafter, transfer to your selected hotel for check-in. Rest of the day is free at leisure for you to explore the city.

Day 02 SIEM REAP (Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner) After breakfast, begin the day with a visit to The South Gate of , the last capital of the . Explore the temples inside the walls of the “Great City” such as , , Baphoun, as well as the Terrace of the Leper King; followed by a small circuit tour of , Chau Say Tevoda, and , a temple with jungle-like atmosphere with a combination of giant trees and extensive roots growing out of the ruins. After lunch, explore the grounds of , a UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of the “Seven Wonders of the World”. Constructed during the first half of the 12th century and encompassing an area of about 400 acres, this awe-inspiring temple is the largest and the best-preserved monument within the ancient city that was the epicentre of the Khmer empire that once ruled most of . Later in the evening, take a short hike up to the top of Bakheng Hill for a fabulous view of sunset over Angkor Wat and its surrounding rice fields as well as forested countryside; before relaxing and unwinding while enjoying a dinner with Khmer Traditional Show.

Day 03 SIEM REAP / BATTAMBANG / SIEM REAP (Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner) After breakfast, journey approximately 165 kilometres Southwest of Siem Reap to Battambang, ’s second largest city which was founded in the 11th century. Visit Wat Ek Phnom, an 11th century ancient temple located on the left bank of Sangkae River, approximately 11 kilometres north of Battambang, Although partly collapsed and looted, Wat Ek Phnom, surrounded by trees and lily ponds, remains famous for the intricate carvings on its lintels and pediments, particularly the lintel above the eastern entrance to the central temple that depicts the “Churning of the Ocean of Milk” from Hindu mythology. Thereafter, continue on to Wat Samrong Knong – one of the oldest in which was built in 1707, on the site of a pre-Angkorian temple complex. It was seized and turned into a prison during the regime and today, the complex also houses a stupa and memorial to more than 10,000 victims who has lost their lives to the atrocities committed during the Khmer Rouge era. Along the way, explore the vast country side that offers a glimpse into the traditional crafts in Battambang - visit a local rice wine distillery to learn how one of Cambodia’s oldest and most traditional drink is infused and processed; as well as a unique village that specializes in the traditional way of making “rice paper”, a thin, translucent layer of pounded and steamed rice used to wrap spring rolls. After lunch, enjoy a thrilling ride on the bamboo train, an improvised rail vehicle made from bamboo platform on wheels, often consisting of a small motor at the back. Norrie as it is known locally, is a unique mode of transportation that was once the main means to transport goods and livestock along the dilapidated railway lines when roads were more difficult to traverse.

Day 04 SIEM REAP / ______(Breakfast) After breakfast, free at leisure until it is time for your transfer back to the airport for your onwards journey.
