CAST BIOS

BROOKE BURNS (Ashley) – Brooke Burns, host of Oxygen Network‘s ―Hair Battle Spectacular,‖ was born in Dallas, TX. child of three siblings, her mother encouraged her from a young age to pursue her dream, which, since kindergarten, was to become a ballerina. As a teenager, she showed great promise as a professional dancer, but her career was abruptly ended at age 14 after a ski accident. She is a natural athlete and a talented swimmer, having been trained by her father, a former national champion swimmer at Southern Methodist University.

Burns got into acting in 1996, when she played Peg in the TV series ―Out of the Blue.‖ She went on to guest star in several episodes of ―Ally McBeal‖ and then moved on to play Jessie Owens in ―Baywatch.‖ Burns broke onto the silver screen when she acted opposite Jack Black and Gwyneth Paltrow in ―Shallow Hal.‖ She also played Jan Lambert in ―Single White Female 2: The Psycho‖ alongside Allison Lange and Todd Babcock. Burns also played Kathy Dinkle in ―Pepper Dennis‖ and starred in ―Urban Decay.‖ For two summer seasons in 2002 and 2003, Burns hosted the American version of the ―Dog Eat Dog‖ game show, for which she was nominated for a Teen Choice Award.

Burns starred in the ABC comedy ―Miss/Guided,‖ opposite Chris Parnell (―‖) and Judy Greer. The series was created by Caroline Williams (―The Office‖), produced by and helmed by Emmy® Award-winning director Todd Holland (―Malcolm in the Middle‖). Burns also shot ―Mistresses,‖ a pilot for Lifetime and is currently developing and producing a show for Oxygen.

In her free time Burns is a mentor for Penny Lane, a residential home for abused children. Burns lives with her daughter, Madison in .

DYLAN BRUNO (Pete) – Dylan Bruno graduated from MIT with a degree in environmental engineering in 1993. He took a year off from his engineering job to ski competitively. Following that, he modeled and starred in television commercials, one of which landed him a job as a series regular in the television series "High Incident."

His first feature film role was in "Saving Private Ryan." He also appeared in "Where The Heart Is," HBO's "When Trumpets Fade" and "The One."

Other television credits include a five year run on "Numb3rs," recurring arcs on "NCIS," "North Shore" and guest appearances including "CSI: ," "Nash Bridges" and "The Dead Zone."

STACY KEIBLER (Mandy) – Although her career spans over two decades, Stacy Keibler continues to be the fresh faced beauty that both film and television audiences adore. Keibler began her career as a at the age of 6. Shortly thereafter, she was cast in national commercials, which led her to join AFTRA and SAG before the age of 10. Though still young, Keibler began building an impressive resume in both film and television. Her film credits include the box office successes ―The Firm‖ with Tom Cruise and Gene Hackman, ―The Pelican Brief‖ alongside and Denzel Washington, and ―True Lies‖ with and Arnold Schwarzenegger. Added to Keibler‘s list of film roles is ―The Comebacks,‖ a 20th Century FOX feature she appeared in alongside comedian David Koechner. Most recently, she completed filming the comedy ―Dysfunctional .‖

In January 2010, Keibler guest starred on the hit CBS show, ―‖, opposite Neil Patrick Harris. Her appearance was on the 100th episode of the series, which was viewed by 10 million people. She was next seen in a guest starring role on USA‘s popular comedy/adventure series ―.‖

Keibler has appeared on the SPIKE Channel original series ―.‖ Keibler can be seen in a recurring role on the audience loved NBC action/comedy series ―Chuck.‖ She is also currently working with Rob Cohen on his upcoming TV project, ―Gymkhana.‖

When she competed on ―Dancing with the Stars,‖ Keibler‘s skills and popularity landed her among the final three contestants. Impressing not only the audience but also ABC executives, she was quickly offered a network talent deal. This led to recurring roles on ABC‘s ―George Lopez‖ and ―What About Brian‖, where she played the love interest of the lead character Brian, and the villain in the ABC Family mini-series ―Samurai Girl.‖ Keibler also appeared on the drama ―October Road.‖

Prior to her stint on ―Dancing with the Stars,‖ Keibler, a former Baltimore Ravens cheerleader, auditioned for the chance to be the new "Nitro Girl" for World Championship Wrestling (WCW). Keibler wowed both fans and executives and went on to win the National Search. Shortly thereafter, WCW was acquired by World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE). Keibler‘s skills impressed the creators of the program so much that she was the only female brought over to the new company, where she immediately became a regular on the longest running live program in television history.

A model of peak physical fitness, Keibler has graced the covers of numerous magazines including Shape, Vegas, TV Guide, Maxim, FHM Australia, Muscle & Fitness, 6 Degrees, and Beverly Hills 213. She has been featured in Esquire, Cosmopolitan, Elle Girl, LA Times, Parade, Maxim (UK), and Fitness. She regularly appears in , People, Us Weekly, The Look, OK, and Life & Style. The issue of Stuff featuring Stacy Keibler on the cover was one of the magazines highest selling issues of all time.

VALERIE HARPER (Nan) – was born in Suffren, New York. She began her career as a dancer with the Corps de Ballet at Radio City Music Hall and gradually moved into acting, working in everything from industrial shows to regional theatre to the Second City comedy troupe of Chicago. She made it to Broadway in productions of King Lear, Something Different, Metamorphosis, and the Tony award winning Story Theatre. She was nominated for a Tony award for her role in Looped.

Eventually, she transitioned to television and found stardom on ―The Show,‖ for which she received two Golden Globe nominations and won three Emmy® Awards as Morgenstern. She was again nominated for three Golden Globe awards and won an Emmy® Award for her show lead role on ―Rhoda.‖

Her feature films include ―Chapter Two,‖ ―,‖ and ―The Last Married Couple in America.‖

JOHN RATZENBERGER (Parker Clayton) – Born in Bridgeport, CT, master improvisational actor gained international fame as in the NBC series ―.‖ During more than three decades of movie making and theater, Ratzenberger has enjoyed success as a screenwriter, director, producer and multi Emmy®-nominated actor. He is also an accomplished entrepreneur and philanthropist.

Ratzenberger‘s career began in earnest in the early , when he formed the improvisational theater duo Sal‘s Meat Market. In between his theater touring in Europe, Ratzenberger was a producer and screenwriter for several European TV and theater organizations.

Ratzenberger‘s first motion picture role was in the Golden Globe-nominated film ―The Ritz,‖ and he went on to appear in more than 22 movies over the next few years, including ―Gandhi‖ and Star Wars‘ ―.‖ In all, Ratzenberger has acted in close to 40 movies, including ― 1‖ and ―Superman 2,‖ ―One Night Stand,‖ ―Tick Tock,‖ ―That Darn Cat,‖ ―She‘s Having a Baby,‖ ―Outland,‖ ―Yanks‖ and ―A Bridge Too Far.‖

was scheduled to return to London, he auditioned for a role on the upcoming ―Cheers.‖ Thus was born the lovable postman and trivia king, Cliff Clavin—American icon. He has portrayed Cliff in eight NBC TV specials (1986-2002), as well as in shows such as ―Fraiser,‖ ―,‖ ―Blossom,‖ ―Wings,‖ ―‖ and ―St. Elsewhere.‖

As a vocal talent, Ratzenberger is the only actor to voice a role in all of the films. Pixar artists always find a way to include Ratzenberger‘s recognizable eyebrows and mustache. As Pixar‘s creative head John Lasseter once said, ―John is our good luck charm.‖

Ratzenberger has acted in many TV movies, including the Hallmark Channel Original Movie, ―Our First Christmas,‖ AMC‘s ―Remember WENN,‖ ―The Pennsylvania Miners‘ Story,‖ NBC's ―How I Spent My Summer,‖ ―Going to the Chapel‖ and ―Combat Academy,‖ Largo Entertainment‘s ―Under Pressure‖ and CBS‘s ―Timestalkers.‖

Ratzenberger continues to direct, produce and write. He currently heads his own production company, Fiddlers Bay Productions, located in Los Angeles. He has directed more than 50 TV episodes, including several on ―Cheers,‖ ―Down Home,‖ ―Madman of the People,‖ ―Pearl‖ and ―Sister, Sister.‖ He also directed single episodes of MTM‘s ―Evening Shade‖ and Warner Brother‘s ―Sydney.‖

He started the Nuts, Bolts and Thingamajigs Foundation. Ratzenberger is committed to inspiring the next generation to the pleasures of ‗tinkering‘ – getting away from their video games and TV sets and into the backyard building things. His tag line has become ―Little hands build big dreams. Give children tools and watch them build America.‖

Ratzenberger is an outspoken advocate for American-made products and the companies that keep Americans working, and hosted the series ―Made in America‖ from 2004-2005. In 2007, John embarked on a yearlong commitment with the Association for American Manufacturing and U.S. Steelworkers to create a Presidential Town Hall Tour. He is currently in pre-production on a new documentary, ―Industrial Tsunami,‖ which awakens Americans to the shortage of skilled workers that threatens the existence of companies, entire industries, and our country as a whole.

During his free time, Ratzenberger is an avid sailor, fisherman, and billiard player. He enjoys international travel, fencing and collecting antiques. He plays the drums and belongs to a bagpipe band as part of the Emerald Society. Sports such as karate, yoga and skeet shooting keep him active. He has one son and one daughter and lives outside of Los Angeles, but he spends as much time as possible on his boat, cruising up and down the East coast.

CHARLIE SCHLATTER (Marty) – Born in Inglewood, New Jersey Charlie Schattler first fell in love with acting in high school when he auditioned for the school‘s play Oliver to impress a girl.

He once said, ―The girl didn‘t only happen to be cute, she was the only girl at school that was shorter than me.‖ The audition was a success, and he got the leading part of Oliver Twist.

Schlatter earned a B.F.A. in musical theater from Ithaca College. He starred in numerous plays and became a skilled musician, playing guitar, drums and piano, and writing songs. He spent his summers appearing in summer stock.

He got his first big break in the movie ―Bright Lights, Big City‖ playing the younger brother of Michael J. Fox‘s character. His big screen debut was followed up with major roles in the films ―Heartbreak Hotel‖ and ―18 Again.‖ Schlatter also starred in the television series ―Ferris Bueller‖ based on the 1986 film. He went on to play Dr. Jesse Travis for six years on the CBS series ―Diagnosis Murder‖ opposite . He appeared in the independent films ―White Rush,‖ ―Miss Castaway,‖ and ―Out At The Wedding.‖

Schlatter has a prolific voice over career starring in such animated series as ―Butt Ugly Martians,‖ ―Tom and Jerry,‖ ―,‖ ―Grim and Evil‖ and ―.‖

Charlie Schlatter resides in Los Angeles with his wife Colleen and their three children.

BRIAN MCGOVERN (Christopher) – Brian McGovern attended the University of Washington where he earned his B.A. in Dramatic Arts. His education in acting continued at the Royal Shakespeare Company in New York City with Anthony Naylor and Cicily Brown. He also completed two years of the Meisner Technique and trained at Gately/Poole Studios in New York City.

He has performed with several theatre companies including The Penthouse Theatre, The Glen Hughes Playhouse, Campbell Hall, The Oasis Theatre Co., The Nat Home Theatre, The Playground Theatre, Sanford Meisner Theatre and Musical Theatre Works.

McGovern‘s film credits include ―Prefontaine,‖ ―True Blue,‖ which received critical acclaim at the Cannes and Venice film festivals and was the recipient of England‘s Royal Command Film Performance, ―Vantage Point‖ and ―Meeting Spencer.‖

For two years he played Chaz on ―Ryan‘s Hope‖ and guest starred on ―Another World,‖ ―Guiding Light,‖ ―All My Children,‖ and ―One Life to Live.‖

He recently guest starred on ―Rules of Engagement,‖ ―Glee‖ and ―CSI Miami.‖
