‘FIXING PETE’ CAST BIOS BROOKE BURNS (Ashley) – Brooke Burns, host of Oxygen Network‘s ―Hair Battle Spectacular,‖ was born in Dallas, TX. The middle child of three siblings, her mother encouraged her from a young age to pursue her dream, which, since kindergarten, was to become a ballerina. As a teenager, she showed great promise as a professional ballet dancer, but her career was abruptly ended at age 14 after a ski accident. She is a natural athlete and a talented swimmer, having been trained by her father, a former national champion swimmer at Southern Methodist University. Burns got into acting in 1996, when she played Peg in the TV series ―Out of the Blue.‖ She went on to guest star in several episodes of ―Ally McBeal‖ and then moved on to play Jessie Owens in ―Baywatch.‖ Burns broke onto the silver screen when she acted opposite Jack Black and Gwyneth Paltrow in ―Shallow Hal.‖ She also played Jan Lambert in ―Single White Female 2: The Psycho‖ alongside Allison Lange and Todd Babcock. Burns also played Kathy Dinkle in ―Pepper Dennis‖ and starred in ―Urban Decay.‖ For two summer seasons in 2002 and 2003, Burns hosted the American version of the ―Dog Eat Dog‖ game show, for which she was nominated for a Teen Choice Award. Burns starred in the ABC comedy ―Miss/Guided,‖ opposite Chris Parnell (―Saturday Night Live‖) and Judy Greer. The series was created by Caroline Williams (―The Office‖), produced by Ashton Kutcher and helmed by Emmy® Award-winning director Todd Holland (―Malcolm in the Middle‖). Burns also shot ―Mistresses,‖ a pilot for Lifetime and is currently developing and producing a show for Oxygen. In her free time Burns is a mentor for Penny Lane, a residential home for abused children. Burns lives with her daughter, Madison in Los Angeles. ### DYLAN BRUNO (Pete) – Dylan Bruno graduated from MIT with a degree in environmental engineering in 1993. He took a year off from his engineering job to ski competitively. Following that, he modeled and starred in television commercials, one of which landed him a job as a series regular in the television series "High Incident." His first feature film role was in "Saving Private Ryan." He also appeared in "Where The Heart Is," HBO's "When Trumpets Fade" and "The One." Keibler began her career as a model at the age of 6. Shortly thereafter, she was cast in national commercials, which led her to join AFTRA and SAG before the age of 10. Though still young, Keibler began building an impressive resume in both film and television. Her film credits include the box office successes ―The Firm‖ with Tom Cruise and Gene Hackman, ―The Pelican Brief‖ alongside Julia Roberts and Denzel Washington, and ―True Lies‖ with Jamie Lee Curtis and Arnold Schwarzenegger. Added to Keibler‘s list of film roles is ―The Comebacks,‖ a 20th Century FOX feature she appeared in alongside comedian David Koechner. Most recently, she completed filming the comedy ―Dysfunctional Friends.‖ In January 2010, Keibler guest starred on the hit CBS show, ―How I Met Your Mother‖, opposite Neil Patrick Harris. Her appearance was on the 100th episode of the series, which was viewed by 10 million people. She was next seen in a guest starring role on USA‘s popular comedy/adventure series ―Psych.‖ Keibler has appeared on the SPIKE Channel original series ―Blue Mountain State.‖ Keibler can be seen in a recurring role on the audience loved NBC action/comedy series ―Chuck.‖ She is also currently working with Rob Cohen on his upcoming TV project, ―Gymkhana.‖ When she competed on ―Dancing with the Stars,‖ Keibler‘s skills and popularity landed her among the final three contestants. She began her career as a dancer with the Corps de Ballet at Radio City Music Hall and gradually moved into acting, working in everything from industrial shows to regional theatre to the Second City comedy troupe of Chicago. She made it to Broadway in productions of King Lear, Something Different, Metamorphosis, and the Tony award winning Story Theatre. She was nominated for a Tony award for her role in Looped. Eventually, she transitioned to television and found stardom on ―The Mary Tyler Moore Show,‖ for which she received two Golden Globe nominations and won three Emmy® Awards as Rhoda Morgenstern. She was again nominated for three Golden Globe awards and won an Emmy® Award for her show lead role on ―Rhoda.‖ Her feature films include ―Chapter Two,‖ ―Freebie and the Bean,‖ and ―The Last Married Couple in America.‖ Harper recently guest starred on ―Desperate Housewives‖ and ―Drop Dead Diva.‖ She has also guest starred on ―‘Til Death,‖ ―Committed,‖ ―That ‗70s Show,‖ ―Sex and the City,‖ ―Touched by an Angel‖ and ―Melrose Place.‖ ### JOHN RATZENBERGER (Parker Clayton) – Born in Bridgeport, CT, master improvisational actor John Ratzenberger gained international fame as Cliff Clavin in the NBC series ―Cheers.‖ During more than three decades of movie making and theater, Ratzenberger has enjoyed success as a screenwriter, director, producer and multi Emmy®-nominated actor. He is also an accomplished entrepreneur and philanthropist. Ratzenberger‘s career began in earnest in the early 1970s, when he formed the improvisational theater duo Sal‘s Meat Market. In between his theater touring in Europe, Ratzenberger was a producer and screenwriter for several European TV and theater organizations. Ratzenberger‘s first motion picture role was in the Golden Globe-nominated film ―The Ritz,‖ and he went on to appear in more than 22 movies over the next few years, including ―Gandhi‖ and Star Wars‘ ―The Empire Strikes Back.‖ In all, Ratzenberger has acted in close to 40 movies, including ―Superman 1‖ and ―Superman 2,‖ ―One Night Stand,‖ ―Tick Tock,‖ ―That Darn Cat,‖ ―She‘s Having a Baby,‖ ―Outland,‖ ―Yanks‖ and ―A Bridge Too Far.‖ In 1982 Ratzenberger accepted a writing assignment for CBS in Los Angeles.
