Ibrahim, Ketua Pengarah Jabatan Bomba dan Penyelamat Malaysia telah menerima kunjungan hormat daripada Delegasi Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA) di Pejabat Ketua Pengarah pada 3 Julai 2013. Tujuan utama kunjungan hormat tersebut adalah untuk membincangkan peluang bekerjasama antara JBPM dengan pihak JICA serta mengeratkan hubungan dua (2) hala antara kedua-dua belah pihak. Turut hadir ialah YAS Dato’ Hj. Amer bin Hj. Yusof Timbalan Ketua Pengarah (Pembangunan), Penolong-penolong Ketua Pengarah serta pegawai kanan jabatan. Majlis dimulakan dengan penyampaian Sijil Pelantikan Jawatankuasa AKRAB oleh YAS Dato’ Wan Mohd Nor bin Hj. Ibrahim, Ketua Pengarah Jabatan Bomba dan Penyelamat Malaysia kepada 36 pegawai dan kakitangan JBPM yang ditauliahkan sebagai Ahli Tujuan utama program dan AKRAB. Turut diadakan sempena aktiviti AKRAB adalah untuk program tersebut adalah memupuk semangat berpasukan, Pelancaran Buletin AKRAB dan keakraban, memberi sokongan persembahan multimedia. dan bimbingan kepada rakan sekerja melalui perjumpaan perseorangan atau dalam bentuk berkumpulan dengan konsep rakan membantu rakan. Buletin BOMBA 6 JABATAN BOMBA DAN PENYELAMAT MALAYSIA 8 Julai 2013 (Isnin) – Jabatan Bomba dan Penyelamat Perbincangan dua hala tersebut Malaysia telah mengadakan lawatan kerja ke Jabatan Hal Ehwal telah dipengerusikan oleh Veteran ATM, Kementerian Pertahanan Malaysia pada 8 Julai 2013 Mejar Jeneral Dato’ Zulkifli yang diketuai oleh YS PPjB Sobberi bin Basiran, Penolong Ketua bin Mazlan, Ketua Pengarah Pengarah Bahagian Pengurusan Korporat. Jabatan Hal Ehwal Veteran ATM, Kementerian Pertahanan. Tujuan utama lawatan tersebut ialah untuk mendapatkan maklumat terperinci berkenaan fungsi dan tugas yang dilaksanakan oleh Jabatan Hal Ehwal Veteran menguruskan kebajikan pesara- pesara untuk diimplementasikan di peringkat jabatan. It suggests that blogs perform three main functions, which help make a democracy more meaningful: blogs as fifth estate, blogs as networks, and blogs as platform for expression. First, blogs function as the fifth estate performing checks-and-balances over the government. This function is expressed by blogs’ role in the dissemination of information, providing alternative perspectives that challenge the dominant frame, and setting of news agenda. The second function of blogs is that they perform as networks. This is linked to the social-networking aspect of the blogosphere both online and offline. Blogs also have the potential to act as mobilizing agents. The mobilizing capability of blogs facilitated the mass street protests, which took place in late- 2007 and early-2008 in Malaysia.

You can’t live in a rising share market. You can’t give your kids a better life because your company’s C.E.O. was able to give himself a big raise. When rubber-meets-road, it has been argued that a better way to measure whether the economy is working for the mass of Malaysians is not GDP but household income. [1] To the average Malaysian, what matters most is how much money is going into their pockets and what they can buy with that money. It has been reported on 10 Oct 2017 that the minister in the Prime Minister’s Department, Abdul Rahman Dahlan quoting the Report of Household Income and Basic Amenities Survey 2016 released by the Statistics Department, claimed that the report showed rising household income, declining incidence of poverty and decreasing income inequality under the BN government. “This debunks the popular notion that income in Malaysia is stagnant or income increment does not match the rising prices of goods and services,” Rahman, who is also BN strategic communications director, said in a statement.     The Malaysian Bar vs. The Attorney General of Malaysia & The Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission: The Moment the Malaysian Bar Stood Up for the Key Institutions of State _________________________________________________________ On the 14th of March 2016, the Malaysian Bar filed a landmark challenge in the High Court of Malaya. The challenge was the first of its kind in recorded legal history. The Bar did not derive any pecuniary benefit from the action. It was a suit filed to protect the independence and integrity of key institutions of state during what was a difficult period in the country. This is the story of the Malaysian Bar’s judicial review application against the decision of the then Attorney General of Malaysia not to institute a criminal prosecution against the then Prime Minister and, further, the direction to the Malaysian Anti Corruption Commission of Malaysia (“the MACC”) to cease its investigations into the transfer of funds into the said Prime Minister’s personal bank accounts. The team that represented the Malaysian Bar was led by two doyens of the profession: Tommy Thomas and Dato’ Ambiga Sreenevasan. Their appearance for the Bar was befitting of the brief. Never before had a Bar Association filed a court action to challenge the exercise of the prosecutorial powers of the state’s chief prosecuting officer. The judicial review was filed against the backdrop of an unprecedented international financial scandal which placed Malaysia at the centre of global attention. Menyifatkan projek mega itu sebagai ‘penukar permainan’ dan ‘penukar minda’, beliau kesal dengan tindakan sesetengah pihak yang cuba menggagalkan pelaksanaannya walaupun bermanfaat besar kepada rakyat dan negara. “Saya ingin memberi jaminan kepada rakyat bahawa kerajaan Barisan Nasional (BN) mempunyai rekod yang mengagumkan dan akan menunaikan janjinya. Pelaksanaan projek MRT adalah bukti terbaharu. “Menerusi sokongan berte¬rusan rakyat, insya-Allah kita dapat menyaksikan projek ECRL pada 2024 seperti dijanjikan atau lebih awal lagi,” katanya ketika berucap menyempurnakan majlis pecah tanah projek ECRL di Kotasas di sini hari ini. The Eliminate Project is a global health campaign by KIF in partnership with UNICEF to eliminate maternal and neonatal tetanus (“MNT”) disease. The project aims to raise US$110 million and save the lives of 129 million mothers and their future babies. As of February 2016, KIF has raised US$107 million in cash and pledges. MNT is among the most common lethal consequences of unclean deliveries and umbilical cord care practices. When tetanus develops, mortality rates are extremely high, especially when appropriate medical care is not available. This happens despite the fact that MNT deaths can be easily prevented by hygienic delivery and cord care practices, and/ or by immunizing mothers with tetanus vaccine that is cheap and very efficacious.

Instead he grossly heaps preposterous praises on the lackluster and often self-contradictory actions of a PM when it is least deserved. Astounded: "I always believe the person you should listen to and take heed of is the prime minister himself. Nothing else matters," said Abdul Rahman. Yes, when we want to listen to the PM, nothing has come out from his mouth, especially on the hudud issue. Day after day, we wait but still silence. KUALA LUMPUR: A Barisan Nasional MP has asked Prime Minister Najib Razak if those who put Malaysia in a bad light can be considered traitors to the country. Dr Makin @ Marcus Mojigoh (BN-Putatan) also asked what action the government had taken against those who had tarnished the country’s image. Minister in the Prime Minister’s Department Azalina Othman Said, who answered on behalf of Najib, ignored the first question but said that from 2010 to February this year, 65 reports had been filed against government officials who deliberately gave the country and its administration negative publicity. She said of the 65 government officials, 28 had faced a variety of disciplinary actions, including termination of employment. “The other 37 individuals are undergoing disciplinary proceedings or are under investigation,” she said in a written reply at the Dewan Rakyat today. Earlier this month, Najib took aim at certain individuals for sabotaging the country’s economy, saying that their “heartless act” could victimise the people. He cited how Malaysia had nearly lost an investment worth RM31 billion from Saudi Aramco due to the unpatriotic attitude of certain quarters who fed wrong information about the country to the Saudi Arabian oil giant. Apart from the PM, BN strategic communications director Abdul Rahman Dahlan blamed the opposition for spreading lies about the government.
