CARRIE BIELENBERG | LARIMER CO. DISTRICT ATTORNEY'S OFFICE

Carrie Bielenberg received her Bachelor of Social Work Degree from Metropolitan State University of , and her Master of Social Work Degree from State University. She has been working with youth and families in the Northern Colorado Area for the past 9 years, ranging from Division of Youth Services, Residential & Day Treatment Facilities, Child Protective Services, Non-Profit work supporting schools, and finally at the District Attorney's Office with Diversion Programming for youth and adults. Carrie is passionate about her work at the DA's Office, and is grateful that this community believes in alternatives to Court, like Diversion. When Carrie is not working, she enjoys spending time hiking and being outdoors with her dogs and her husband.

Kristen Cohran-Ward is the Director of Connections and CAYAC Program for the Health District of Northern Larimer County.

Zoe Drigot is a former student at Poudre High School in Fort Collins.

BOBBIE JO PASTECKI | LOVELAND POLICE

Master Officer Bobbie Jo Pastecki has been with the Loveland Police Department for 26 years, the last 11 as a SRO. She is currently assigned as a School Resource Officer and is at Walt Clark Middle School. In addition to being a SRO, Bobbie is also a Defensive Tactics Instructor, Crisis Negotiator, Loveland Police Department Explorer Advisor, Honor Guard Member, a Field Training Officer and a SHARP instructor. Bob Percifield is a Chief Deputy District Attorney for the Larimer County District Attorney's Office.

JARAD SARGENT | FORT COLLINS POLICE SERVICES

Corporal Jarad Sargent is starting his second year as a Corporal for the Fort Collins Police Services School Resource Officer (SRO) Program. Jarad Sargent was the SRO at Poudre High School for five years, and has been with FCPS since 2011. While working as an SRO, Jarad has collaborated with Diversion, The Center for Family Outreach, Restorative Justice and a juvenile problem solving court in order to get resources in place for juveniles and their families in Fort Collins.

Jeff Schwartz is a Private Defense Bar and a member of the Juvenile Gun Safety Coalition.

HEATHER SIEGEL | PUBLIC DEFENDER'S OFFICE

Heather Siegel is a Colorado native. After studying social work at Creighton University and volunteering with the homeless population in California, she returned to Colorado to attend law school at the University of Denver. She has been with the Public Defender’s Office for 9 years, spending several years working in juvenile court, and currently represents adults in felony matters. She has 2 young daughters and loves being part of the Fort Collins community and spending time in the beautiful outdoors with her family.

TRACY STROMBERG | STATE OF COLORADO PROBATION

Tracy Stromberg is one of the probation supervisors for the Juvenile team located in the Fort Collins office. She has worked for the Probation Department for 12 years and has had the pleasure in working with the juvenile population the majority of her career. HAVA SIMMONS | LARIMER COUNTY

Hava Simmons graduated from Colorado State University with a degree in Human Development and Family Studies with a focus in adolescence. Since that time, she has worked in Colorado, Washington,Virginia and . Hava has extensive experience in a variety of social service arenas such as prevention of out of home placements, provision of in-home wraparound services, adult and juvenile corrections, child protection, human trafficking efforts, trauma informed service provision and various other areas of child welfare. Currently Hava works as a full-time Social Casework Manager for Larimer County Department of Human Services supervising a unit of 9 caseworkers who are assigned to adolescents involved in the delinquency system. In December of 2016 Hava completed a Certificate Program at Georgetown University in Reducing Racial and Ethnic Disparities in Juvenile Justice. In 2017 Hava was appointed by Governor Hickenlooper to the Colorado Division of Youth Services Community Board and in 2018 he appointed her to the Colorado Human Trafficking Council. In 2019 she participated in the Human Trafficking Leadership Academy through the National Human Trafficking Training and Technical Assistance Center. Hava considers herself fortunate to be an ally to those having experienced Human Trafficking as well as involvement with the child welfare and juvenile justice systems.

MAGISTRATE MATTHEW ZEHE | LARIMER COUNTY

Magistrate Matthew Zehe has served as a magistrate for the 8th Judicial District for 14 years. He has presided over the juvenile delinquency docket and the Juvenile Recovery Court since July, 2018. He additionally presides over the Larimer County DUI Recovery Court. Prior to his appointment to his current position, Magistrate Zehe served in Fort Collins as an attorney for the Office of the State Public Defender for ten years. He received his law degree from the University of Denver in 1995 and his undergraduate degree in Philosophy from Indiana University in 1991.

In 2007, the Board of County Commissioners recognized the Larimer County Criminal Justice Advisory Committee (CJAC). The Committee is an advisory and policy level board consisting of County elected officials and other principal justice system decision makers. The mission of the Larimer County Criminal Justice Advisory Committee (CJAC) is to participate in a structured policy planning process that addresses issues facing the county's criminal justice system. The committee sets priorities, develops and executes policy decisions, and strives to ensure an accountable, coordinated justice system in Larimer County.
