Primum Brut DOCG NV W I N E D E S C R I P T I O N La Valle is an idiosyncratic and leading Franciacorta estate founded in 1990. La Valle’s philosophy is to fully ripe and to avoid barrels, malo-lactic, and high dosage in order to preserve their flavors. The soil at La Valle is ancient and the goal is to express their venerable .

The of La Valle are situated in Rodengo Saiano where glaciers cut deep into the earth leaving morainic soils that contain a high concentration of fossils. The vineyards lie just 2 kilometers from which helps to preserve freshness while the grapes reach full physiological ripeness.

“Primum” Franciacorta Brut is a blend of , Pinot Bianco, and Pinot Nero and is the foundation of the La Valle line. The is vinified in stainless-steel tanks, sees no malolactic, and spends 24 months on the lees. “Primum” receives a low dosage of 4.5-5 g/l at the time of disgorgement.
