Yai has been photographed for influential magazines such as Vogue, V, Pop, AnOtherand Self Service. She became the subject for one of Willy Vanderperre’s iconic model series and was selected by Dazed magazine to appear in the Dazed100. Hailing originally from Egypt, the daughter of Sudanese refugee parents, Yai moved to the US in 2000.
