Introduction of Western mongolia have been studied previously in detail by korshunov & Soljanikov (1976) and korshunov (1977). in recent years, the fauna has been summarised in series of works with our participation by tshikolovets et al., 2009 and Yakovlev (2012). Some additions were published later by krupitsky & Yakovlev (2012) and Yakovlev & Černila (2012). during our last expeditions to Western mongolia several previously unrecorded species of butterfly were found and are reported here. all the specimens are deposited in the private collection of the first author.
