The season of Christmas has quickly slid in and it seems everyone is pushing on schedule, yet we all know the reason for the season: that Christ was born. So enjoy the family and your friends with all the excitement of Christmas. Family and friends are so important. Charley and I want to thank all of you for your participation in the classes and seminars and visiting our store, may you be blessed.

We are at the end of our second year here on 13th street, in the Indian Hills shopping center and hope you will visit many more times in the future. Today, machines are so fun to use. Some of them, you can program for embroidery, then let the machine work the program; of course you need to change the thread as needed and all the prep work must be done before starting. Embroidery requires planning by choosing the design, the right hoop, and prepping with fabric stabilizers and correct thread color. The list of creativity is endless for gifts or other uses that you’ve planned.

Please check the calendars for dates and times of the classes you are interested in to learn more about your sewing abilities, no machines required. With 2016 about to end, many of us want to move on to new experiences. Sales will begin on January 2, 2017 and end Saturday, January 7, 2017 at 5pm. Come for the bargains and sign up for classes and seminars.

Announcing the RNK Seminar:

March 16, 17 and 18! We will have all the new ideas and equipment in to entice you to try new things and products. The Floriani company demonstrator will be here to teach you the old and the new products. March 16 and 17 will be 10am to 5pm, demonstrating many new products and how to best use them. Lunch will also be served here at The Sewing Center. The cost for this seminar is $49. Enroll early so you can secure your spot to learn more about the products. Then on March 18th, you are allowed to come spend the day with the educator teaching you all about the FTCU program. Those of you that have bought or have more questions needing to be answered are encouraged to attend.

Remember, we want to service all your sewing needs. Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!!! CLASSES P a g e | 2 Class Policies

PRE-ENROLLMENT: Required for ALL classes. A class will not be held if there are fewer than two students.

REFUNDS: If you cancel one week prior to class you will receive a full refund. If you cancel within 6 days of class you will receive credit towards another class or store merchandise only.

CLASS ATTENDANCE ISSUES: PLEASE be mindful of starting class time. The stated class time means you have your machine and supplies ready so the instructor can start the class. Arriving late or unprepared (with regards to machine, accessories, etc.) means a delay for everyone attending the class. Unpreparedness or tardiness turns a two hour class into a three hour class that many did not schedule themselves for including the instructor. Please arrive 10-15 minutes early so your questions and issues may be addressed and you can set up your sewing space prior to the start of class. Thank You

CELL PHONES: Please be respectful of others around you. If you must be available via cell phone during class, please excuse yourself from the classroom during lectures and demonstrations.

BASIC SEWING/QUILTLING KIT: Bring scissors, pins, tape measure, fabric marker, ripper and safety pins.

USE OF SEWING CENTER EQUIPMENT/SUPPLIES: There will be an additional charge of $5.00 to use our machines and/or supplies.

CHILDREN: Please do not bring your children with you without permission from the instructor prior to class.

CANCELLATIONS OR INCLEMENT WEATHER: If we cancel or postpone a class you will have the choice of receiving a full refund on the class fee or full credit. Classes will be cancelled if road conditions are hazardous. If you are not sure if class will be held, PLEASE CALL!
