Ghost Town Trail Ghost Town, The Ghost Town Trail totals 36 miles in Indiana and Cambria Counties, Pennsylvania. The trail was first established in 1991 Hoodlebug & when the Kovalchick Salvage Company donated 16 miles of the former Ebensburg & Black Lick Blairsville Riverfront Railroad to Indiana County. In 1993 the Cambria & Indiana Railroad donated Trails an additional 4 miles from Rexis to White Mill Station known as the Rexis Branch. In 2005 an Regional Trail Guide additional 20 miles were added to the trail - 12 miles in Indiana County and 8 miles in Cambria County. The trail is designated as a National Recreation Trail by the U.S. Department of the Interior.
Hoodlebug Trail The Hoodlebug Trail is a 10-mile recreation and commuter trail running from Black Lick to Indiana, PA. The Hoodlebug Trail is open year-round for non-motorized activities, including bicycling, hiking and cross-country skiing. It is also part of a large network of trails in western Pennsylvania known as the Trans Allegheny Trails network.
Blairsville Riverfront Trail This 2-mile long trail follows the loop of the Conemaugh River in Blairsville. It does not directly connect to any other trail. The Hoodlebug and Ghost Town Trails to the east, and West Penn Trail to the west are nearby. Nearby downtown Blairsville has restaurants, shops and historic buildings.
The trail is open for walking, running and bicycling. The surrounding Army Corps property is open to hunt- ing. Trail users should exercise caution when using the trail during
