Winter Park Resort Colorado is our ski week destination in 2014.

Located just 67 miles from downtown Denver on the west side of the Continental Divide, Winter Park Resort offers over 3,000 acres of skiable terrain, 25 lifts, five terrain parks and a new slopeside village including lodging, restaurants and shops.

Winter Park Resort consists of four adjacent areas: Winter Park, Mary Jane, (including Parsenn Bowl), Vasquez Cirque, and Vasquez Ridge. Average Annual Snowfall Winter Park Resort receives over 29 feet of snow annually, and has the most consistent snow season after season. Snowmaking is available on 26 trails covering 299 acres (121 hectares). The snowmaking capabilities guarantee the opening of Winter Park before Thanksgiving.

Terrain Elevation: at top 10,700, bottom 9,000; Trails: 3,081 total skiable acreage (1,246 hectares), includes 143 designated trails and 1,212 acres (490 hectares) of off-piste terrain; Longest run: 4.6 miles with a vertical drop of 3,060 feet.

1 Chairlifts 25 lifts including The Village Cabriolet, two high-speed six-pack lifts, seven high-speed express quads, four triplets, six double chairlifts, three surface lifts, one platter and one rope tow. Uphill capacity of 40,000 riders per hour. The Zephyr Express is modified to accommodate 20 gondola cabins for dinner service to The Lodge at Sunspot.

The first written document mentioning Bad Kleinkirchheim dates back to July 5th 1166. The local Rotary Club Bad Kleinkirchheim in cooperation with all Rotary Clubs of Carinthia will host and organize this event. The giant slalom, the cross-country race and the snowboard event are some of the most exiting events and will eventually determine the "2014 Rotary World Champion".
