The year of Thunderdome. What will this mean for you? I’m excited about it because like most people know, I started my career at Thunderdome. Besides that, it’ s still the best hardcore event ever so to see it return for their 25th anniversary is awesome. Which Festivals can’t we miss this year? There are many festivals who are great but Defqon.1, Hardshock, BKJN vs Partyraiser, C.R.A.F.T, Outdoor Stereo, Harmony of Hardcore (especially the Footworxx stage) Dominator and Airforce 1 you can’t miss. I also would advise you to check out Tomorrowland 2017 because since last year they also do hardcore. What do you love about the Gabberscene? Most of all the people (The Crowd) and of course the music! Do you miss something in the Gabberscene? At this point I have no complains at all, love the people, love the scene. What things are you working on at the moment? I’m working on some great collabs with awesome producers. Unfortunately, can’t give you any names right now but it will be great. You already did so much in the Gabberscene, but what you still wish to do? I hope that I can deliver some new talents for the future What are your favorite things to do, besides the Gabberscene? I like to read true crime stories and spending time with my son. The existence of such an offshoot of the Italian historical avantgarde gives Riccardo Balli, author of Sbrang Gabba Gang: Gabber Reconstruction of the Universe (2020), a wonderful opportunity to use his DJ-cum-writer skills to investigate the uncanny connections between the aesthetics discussed in the original manifesto and the various contexts of modern club music. Une soirée chargée en BPM en perspective ! Défricheur de talent, activiste de la première heure et aujourd’hui leader du genre, le label Audiogenic a toujours eu à cœur de promouvoir la frange dure de la Techno aux oreilles du plus grand nombre afin de faire danser les foules. L’esprit de la soirée « Born To Rave » porte cette même volonté, et réinvestit le Cargö le samedi 11 janvier à Caen. Plus d’une dizaine d’artistes se succéderont sur 2 scènes pour offrir un panorama des styles de musiques électroniques, de la Hardtechno au Hardcore en passant par la Techno et la Trance. Une programmation rare, composée de têtes d’affiches internationales auxquelles s’ajouteront des étoiles montantes françaises et régionales. L’ensemble sera mis en scène avec des projections 3D et du mapping vidéo, afin d’offrir au public normand une expérience totale. Maissouille, artiste normand reconnu comme l'un des principaux fers de lance de la scène Hard Beat internationale, sera entouré par la crème des DJs et producteurs actuels. On ne présente plus le prophète de la scène Hard Music mondiale Noize Suppressor, qui ouvrira le bal avec un show hors-norme qui dévaste littéralement ses parterres de fans à travers le monde. A ses côtés, Radium, figure majeure de la scène Hardcore Française, membre du mythique duo Micropoint et père fondateur du Frenchcore, le secondera d’une main de maître à coups de caisses claires foudroyantes et de kicks tranchants.

Also, nowadays, ‘house’ is often used as a collective nuon for anything from Soulful to commercial Deep- or Techhouse that doesn’t fit the specific subgenre’s characteristics.
