Eight weeks is all it takes for a fitness ‘breakthrough’ – if not now, then when?

Whether you’re seeking to lose weight, lean out or add muscle and strength, Heritage Lifefit Fitness’ Breakthrough Boot Camp offers an eight-week course toward fitness transformation – and it’s ​ completely free for the community!

Conducted three to four times each year at the HVVMG office in Victorville, 12408 Hesperia Rd., Breakthrough Boot Camp equips you with a team of highly qualified professionals to guide you every step of the way. From an on-site boot camp coordinator, “FIT-sician” and professional nutritionist, you’ll be surrounded by the support you need to make a serious breakthrough this year, no matter your fitness ​ ​ level or experience.

The next session will run between May and June. A mandatory meeting for participants is scheduled May 4.

Along with fitness coaches and one-on-one counseling sessions, the eight-week program will supply you with a plan and connect you weekly with groups via social media. Even better, you’ll have the opportunity to become an HVVMG member free of charge, if you’re not already, and a choice of classes in which to partake, from ZumbaStrong to FITness 101 to Hard Corps Obstacle Course Race Training.

The results, thus far, have been astounding. Breakthrough Boot Camp 2.0 helped participants – often dramatically – accomplish their physical FITness objectives, while also increasing other areas of overall wellness. During the session between September and November 2017, 61 percent of original enrollees completed the program including 100 percent of couples who joined; 94 percent recorded a significant increase in strength and conditioning; and 63 percent improved substantially.

At the beginning of the program, three days of assessments will measure strength (push-ups) and conditioning (tempo run) that will gauge your later physical FITness performance increases.

George Mangum, the Heritage Lifefit Fitness director, created the “FITness” terminology, using FIT as an acronym for “Fitness before Intervention or Treatment” as he noticed the overwhelming negative costs associated with the lack of an -driven lifestyle. Experts suggest that preemptive lifestyle can significantly decrease one’s health expenses over a period of time.
