The NBMFRC is an equal opportunity employer. About the job We are looking for an experienced and highly skilled Business and Human Resources Manager to join our team in Oromocto, New Brunswick. The Business and Human Resources Manager will Be responsiBle for ensuring the efficiency of Business operations as well as setting strategic goals for the future. They will also Be a leader charged with managing daily activities, supervising work, and pushing forward on achieving Both operational and financial objectives. The ideal candidate will have a strong track record of managerial experience and be well-versed in all matters related to business, including a strong background in human resource management. In addition, the ideal candidate will be a competent leader who is able to provide guidance that enhances the performance of the organization. Position title: Business and Human Resources Manager Position type: Full Time Languages: Written and spoken competencies in English and French preferred Hours of work: 37.5 hours per week (flexiBle to accommodate workload) Screening required: Enhanced Reliability Screening Salary and Benefits: $55,000 to $63,000 plus benefits (based on qualifications and experience) Key Responsibilities • Coordinates discussions and participants in the development, preparation and implementation of short- term and long-range strategic plans and Budgets Based upon Broad organization goals and oBjectives; • Ensures that the organization has the adequate and suitable resources to complete its activities (e.g. people, material, equipment etc.); • Coaches and supervises employees at each level of the organization in order to improve efficiency and effectiveness; • Develops and implements financial administration and control policies, systems and procedures; • Participates and leads all human resources activities including recruitment and selection, training and development, employee relations, payroll, and all other human resources functions; • Liaises with outside legal counsel when required; • Interprets both internal and external data and will be required to provide summary reports; • Assists with overseeing all inventory lists and capital asset management; • Liaises with all levels of the organization to ensure accurate financial administration; • Identifies any financial irregularities to the Executive Director; • Involves and works with volunteers in appropriate areas of the Program; and • Ensures the quality of service provided by the NBMFRC to all military family members. Qualifications, Abilities, and Skills: • Bachelor’s degree in Business, human resource management, or related field. • 3-5 years of experience as a business manager or relevant managerial role. • Proven experience with Business and strategy development processes. • Outstanding poise in a fast-paced business environment. • Superior leadership skills, with a focus in employee coaching and development. • Highly motivated with a high level of communication skills (verBal and written). • Proficiency in MS Office and knowledge of research methods and data analysis techniques. Preferred Qualifications • Certified Human Resources Professional (CHRP). • Bilingualism in English and French.
