There is a bench at the southern end of Llyn Parc, a bench and picnic bench at the Bowling Green, and a Coed AberllynPont y Pair bench next to the Oak Towers sculpture. .

In many ways, forestry epitomises the spirit of Bangor University: a bold, traditional, international and dynamic university. Perhaps what strikes me most about this newsletter is the incredible achievements of our students who take such pride in, and responsibility for, their own learning through the Bangor Forestry Students’ Association. It is a very rare student society that has the ambition to successfully take on the hosting a nine-day international meeting of forestry students and professionals! In time, current students will transform into alumni and young professionals with the capacity to make hugely positive contributions to society, to livelihoods, to biodiversity and to the health of our planet. And as measured by the achievements of our many alumni from the forestry and related programmes, the bar has been set very high, providing us all with inspiration and ambition. The circular walk follows woodland paths and farmland with wonderful views of the surrounding area. There will be a welcome stop at the half point with Colwyn Bay Forest School where walkers will have the chance of bush craft activities and a deserved cuppa! There will be a charge of £3 for this walk. Duration: 2.5 – 3 hours Distance: approx.4.8km / 3 miles Meet: Outside Bryn Cadno Community Centre. Cerdded Conwy Walks Autumn Walks October 6, 7, 8, & 13, 14, 15, 2017 Welcome! We have one extra walk to tell you about before the Autumn Walks start.. Sue (Our Chair) is walking the whole of the North Wales Pilgrims Way (in sections). Part three was going to be on September 16th but many of you had other plans and disappointed you couldn’t make it. So we have decided to change the date of par three of the walk to September 30th. Part four follows in the program below on October 14th. September 30th North Wales Pilgrims’ Way – Walk 3 St Asaph to Llansannan This is the third section of the North Wales Pilgrims’ Way from Holywell to Bardsey Island (133.9 miles). This walk starts from St Asaph near the coast and then heads into the rolling hills of rural Conwy, passing through Llannefydd to finish in the beautiful village of Llansannan with its historical pub, The Red Lion. This walk could be very muddy in places. The plan is to park in Llansannan and to book a bus to take walkers to the start of the walks at St Asaph and walk back to Llansannan. Please note that there will be a charge for this bus of around £8 per person in addition to the normal requested donation of £2. Details can be confirmed when booking. Distance: 17.3km / 10.8 miles Duration: 5 hours Meet: Car park in the centre of Llansannan Start time: 8:45am to catch the bus as 9:00am. The walk will start at 9:30am.

Uned Rhyddid Gwybodaeth / Freedom of Information Unit Response Date: 05/02/2020 2020/034 - Assaults since 2015 In response to your recent request for information regarding; I am requesting if you could give me information on the total number of assaults (ahb/ghb etc) that have occurred across North Wales since the beginning of 2015 to the latest data you have available. I am also requesting if you can break the data down by where they have happened street/address and the number of times an assault has occurred at that street over that period of time. eg Queensway Wrexham 55 assaults, High Street Buckley 25. etc. I am also requesting if you could break down the totals at the addresses by year. I am also requesting if you can give a break down of the total number of assaults by county by year. Search criteria includes the Offence Categories for Assaults as laid down in the NCRS document – attached link. I have used codes 104, 105A, 105B, 8N, 8S, 8P and 5D.
