Opened in 1918, The Broadmoor boasts modern details that blend seamlessly with the timeless elegance of this historic resort. For the ultimate buyout experience, brownstones are your home away from home, with formal dining rooms, full kitchens that open onto private terraces, master bedrooms with marble-slab bathrooms, large walk-in closets, connecting parlors with wet bar, fourth floors with casual lounges that open onto large patios with outdoor fireplaces, three-car garages, and wine cellars.

ESTATE HOUSE This 12,000-square-foot historic residence has been entirely reimagined and outfitted in traditional Broadmoor style. The original house was designed by renowned architect Thomas MacLaren in the late 1920s and then expanded into this exquisite 1930s sanctuary.

The Estate House features five bedrooms, each with a king or two queen beds and private bath. There are expansive areas for entertaining, including a grand parlor that can seat 60 at round tables, an opulent dining room for up to 16 guests, and a gourmet kitchen perfect for any occasion. A spacious back lawn and croquet lawn, surrounded by lush, meticulously landscaped gardens, extends the entertaining options. Original woodwork and art, handsome appointments, a library and study, as well as other details, make this home a truly unique venue. The Estate House is available as one exclusive retreat and is perfect for hosted events and intimate weddings.

Colorado’s most spectacular wildlife and some of the best fishing in Colorado await you and your guests 75 minutes west of The Broadmoor, along five miles of the Tarryall River and 120,000 acres of Lost Creek Wilderness. Seven rustic yet well-appointed cabins and a beautifully restored lodge with wraparound deck create a true camping experience, complete with authentic ranch-prepared meals in the evenings. In between events, enjoy fly-fishing from timbered canyons, calm grassy meadows, and winding bends, or simply do nothing at all.

On the summit of Cheyenne Mountain 3,000 feet above The Broadmoor lies a place that was once the site of founder Spencer Penrose’s private lodge, where he would invite friends from the city to feast, relax, and play in the rugged Colorado wilderness. Re-create this one-of-a-kind experience of privacy and luxury at the ultimate mountain retreat.

Upon arrival, whether by Cadillac Escalade, two-hour hike, or even mule, your guests will be amazed by unobstructed 360-degree views of the incomparable splendor of Colorado, from the plains to the east, Pikes Peak to the north, and Pike National Forest and the Rocky Mountains to the west. The 8,500-square-foot main lodge, with hand-hewn beams, indigenous stone fireplaces, great room and bar area, and expansive wraparound deck to absorb the magnificence of the Pikes Peak region, serves as a place for celebrating and gathering. The Overlook, Cloud Camp’s new Western-style event space, natural light that can accommodate up to 70 people. In addition to the accommodations in the lodge and an adjacent honeymoon suite, you’ll find 15 one- and two-bedroom guest cabins nestled among the pines. A buyout includes the Fire Tower Suites, a coveted one-bedroom accommodation with bird’s-eye views of the property below.

CATERING TEAM Your professional wedding coordinator assists with etiquette, creates a time line, coordinates rehearsal and ceremony, confirms details with vendors, and arranges decor and deliveries. Your catering manager creates a cost estimate and payment scheduler, assists with menu development, oversees setup, and recommends resort activities for you and your guests. Your day-of banquet captain works with your vendors to ensure timeliness of your wedding. In the end, all you’re left to handle are the compliments.
