TRADITION CONTINUES For the 4th year in a row some Cliff Islanders took a quick (very quick) swim on New Years Day. Bob Kramer and Steve Little took a dip in Griffins Cove – they went completely underwater and intelligently, quickly got out. New jumpers are always welcome. Bob Howard gets the credit for again catching them on film in mid-air!

ACE REPORT

Dear Friends on Cliff,

I want to say many heartfelt “Thanks” to all of you for the great send off you all gave me. Your wonderful cards, words and gifts were such a comfort for what was for me a sad experience. It’s very comfortable here, but I’d rather be home. Thank you all so very much.

Happy Holidays, Ruth Picture by Bobby Howard

Before the frost and snow could cozily tuck ACE in bed for the 2005 season, we were fortunate to see the completion of the new ACE ball field sign garden area. With the leadership and brain- storming of Sally Howard and Earl MacVane, the old pressure-treated timbers and shrubs were eliminated to make way for a beautiful, 14’ round granite-paved, courtyard area; just in front of the newly renovated ACE mission sign. Not only does the project look amazing, but it will take much less maintenance to keep it looking sharp in future years to come. Thanks again to Sally and Earl and to Steve Little, Bob Howard, Charlie Green, Diane Little and Ben Bernard who volunteered their hard working efforts to see this project Picture by Judith MacKone
