Audi FIS Ski Cross February 14th – 19th, 2021

CROSSPARK REITERALM -

Crosspark Reiteralm and the Austrian Ski Federation are pleased to invite all freestyle nations to attend the Audi FIS Ski Cross World Cup at the Crosspark Reiteralm from February 14th to 19th, 2021.

In order to help you with the preparation of your team’s visit, please find below all the information regarding the race.

COMPETITION RULES

This competition, for both men and women, will be held under the FIS Cross World Cup rules. All national associations affiliated to FIS are invited to compete. This competition will follow an official program that will be available to all participants The Organising Committee reserves the right to change the schedule depending on snow conditions, weather, or by the decision of the competition jury.

COVID-19 SITUATION

In order to ensure the health and safety for the athletes and team personnel, the LOC is working in accordance with the Regional and National Health regulations as well as with FIS in accordance with the FIS COVID-19 Prevention Organiser Guidelines together with the World Health Organisation (WHO) information and recommendations. The LOC and FIS Event Task Force has been established and is monitoring all developments. The corresponding arrangements are currently being put together in a separate document. This will be published and communicated by the LOC at a later stage. All competitors must have their own medical insurance (ICR art 212) which shall cover COVID-19 medical treatment expenses. Updated COVID-19 relevant medical procedures that may be required will be communicated whenever relevant.

REGISTRATION - ENTRIES

Entries will be accepted in accordance with the FIS quotas and rules. All entries must be done using the FIS Online Registration System, through the FIS home page within the mentioned deadlines: www.fis-ski.com/"Member Section". FIS has established Nation Quotas for World Cups. National Ski Teams can only enter World Cup Competitors according to the Quota limitations. Entries by mail or fax are no longer accepted:

Provisional Entries: Tuesday February 2nd, 2021 Each National Association must inform the Organizers about the expected total number of team members (Names, FIS Codes and Gender, team officials) arrival and departure dates and rooming needs (competitors, coaches, accompanying persons and service personnel). This needs to be done using the “Competition Online Entry System”.

Confirmation of Final Entries: Sunday, February 7th, 2021 The NSA must inform the OC of its final entries (Names, FIS Code and Gender) with their arrival and departure dates. The NSA must also inform the OC about the arrival and departure dates of the team officials. Please note! For any changes after the final deadline, the Organizing Committee may invoice the costs incurred for cancelled accommodation to the National Ski Association concerned. Teams or persons who register after the deadline will not be eligible for FIS rates.

Team registration will take place daily, starting on Sunday 14th February 2021 at the Race Office, located at the Reiteralm Bergbahnen GmbH & Co. KG; Gleiming 34; 8973 Schladming

ACCOMODATION and Wax Rooms

Teams will be hosted for lodging and meals at different partner hotels as per the FIS World Cup rules (5 nights at the FIS rate, CHF 60,- per day) from Sunday 14th February to Friday 19th February. The FIS rate can only be guaranteed if the teams book the rooms via the official entries until 7th February 2021.

The LOC does not cover the costs of independent bookings by the teams.

Earlier arrivals or later departures than the official arriving/departure day do not guarantee the FIS rate.

Each coach has to pay his/her team accommodation expenses on arrival day at the race office.

No reservation and no payment will be accepted from the competitors. Each team will be responsible for any damage incurred during their stay.

Two single rooms per country will be provided at CHF 60, -. It is the responsibility of the team to determine who receives this room. 3 additional single rooms requested will be provided at the rate of CHF 100, - per night.

Wax rooms will be at all partner hotels.

Cancellation or changes before one week of the arrival day are free of charge. Cancellation 6 days or less before the arrival day can be charged individually by the hotel.

MEDICAL AND ANTI – DOPING

Anti-Doping control testing maybe conducted in accordance with the rules and regulations set forth by FIS.

FIS LICENCE

All athletes are required to have a valid FIS license.

RULES

The Organizing Committee reserves the right to modify the schedule of the event stated in the program, depending on the snow conditions or the decision of the competition jury.

BIBS

The competitors must wear bibs during trainings, competition and award ceremonies. Please note that there will be a deposit of € 20, - for each bib, payable in cash at the race office.

PRESS CENTER

The Press Center will be located at the Hochalm Reiteralm Preunegg 65 8973 Schladming

CEREMONIES, PUBLIC DRAW

Please see schedule for the Ceremonies, Public Draw & Side Events times. The competitors MUST wear bibs during the official training, competition and prize giving ceremony! Top 3 ladies and top 3 men need to attend the award directly after the final run in the finish area.

ACCREDITATION

The accreditation will take place daily starting on Sunday 14th February 2021 at the Race Office, located at the Reiteralm Bergbahnen GmbH & Co. KG; Gleiming 34; 8973 Schladming

TRANSPORATIONS/DIRECTIONS

Teams are responsible for their own transportation.

PRIZE MONEY

New: The prize money will be transferred to the athlete account. Please upload your prize money document to the new FIS System. Each team captain is responsible for ensuring that the prize money document has been completed correctly to the FIS.

LIABILITY

All competitors, officials and other members of their National Association who attend or participate in the event shall do so at their own risk. The Organising Committee, Reiteralm, the Austrian Ski Veranstaltungs GmbH as organizer, sponsors and suppliers, employees and volunteers shall not be held responsible for any losses or injuries occurred or suffered by competitors, officials or any other persons in conjunction with the organisation or staging of the event.

All participants are urged not to be negligent in safeguarding their personal belongings at all times.

ACCIDENT INSURANCE

Every competitor must be individually medically insured. The Organizing Committee, Reiteralm, the FIS and the Austria Ski Veranstaltungs GmbH will not be held responsible for accidents and, damaged equipment during the training and competitions.

ACCIDENT PROTOCOL

In case of an accident on the course during the event, medical personnel from the Organizing Committee and Ski Patrol will be responsible for any medical decision or evacuation to the local hospital.
